I never had a dog with heartworm always made sure to get them meds to prevent it. Does it go away with treatment eventually? I know it can make the heart explode.

We take him to the vet and they dope him up and give him a shot next to his heart to kill the worms. He has one more treatment.

Then the worms die and idk what happens to them but he can’t get worked up or they can make their way into his lungs or something like that.

He gets a scan in Jan to make sure they’re all gone and if they are he’s good to go.

I feel bad he wants to play with all my neighbors dogs but if they are out I just bring him in because he can’t run the fence and get hyped.

My mom rescued a dog who didn’t even know what a toy was or how to play with it when she brought her home. She had to learn from my mom’s other dog. It was heart breaking to see. But that dog became to thankful and loyal for changing her life.

Man sometimes I tell my dog how good he has it and he doesn’t even know . He’s an Aussie so he’s supposed to be up at 5am working his *** off all day too

We adopted my dog I posted. He was super skittish too at first and never played with toys but now he’s outgrown that since he knows us now.

I found out I’m his favorite, my wife was hugging me and I looked at the dog just messing around and was like “ouch!” He ran over and tried to force his way between us and get her away.
