+1You can easily use it without her knowing about it. Just walk the check up to the cashiers stand instead of leaving it on the table.

That is a real question, and determining factor if she will get wet.Not a single person is going to ask what shoes dude is going to wear?

that's the way to go
Seriously, some girl will judge you for that... but **** those kind of girls anyway.
Money is still money though. If it's not inconvenient for you to save the couple dollars, then why not use it?
Maybe it's something I'll understand in my older years, but I never got the whole idea where people like to drop unnecessary money on things just to prove a point.
Whoever is advocating to not use the coupon . OP don't listen to them broham. Whip it out, make a joke about it, and hand it to the waiter/cashier. If you can pull that off, the woman will respect you. Trust.

Why do you think a woman would respect a man that invites her on a date and doesn't want to pay her dinner?...serious question.
No one said anyone couldn't afford it, but you didn't answer my question. If you have the means to pay all in cash, and you have a coupon lying around in your wallet for 50% off the tab, what's wrong with using it?
It's not a matter of not wanting to pay, it's about not letting this simp society's "rules" dictate your life.
Like Scars said...women like to feel like they are worth something to you, specially when you two don't even know each other and are on a first date...I mean is just a 12$ plate of food...a girl isn't worth not even 12$ to ya?...can't be serious...
Ya talking as if this coupon was saving ya a fortune...you would come off as extremely cheap and I wouldn't blame any girl for feeling a certain way and that doesn't nessesarily mean that she's materialistic.

you think dropping 20$ on a first date is "simping" i find it hard to believe anyone with that mentality has a high success rate with women man....:x
amen to that... personally like others said why even go out to eat... go to a lounge/cafe/park etc.... somewhere undisturbed and quaint and talk, interact, get to know each other... The whole premise behind not using a coupon is on some trying to prove a point impress etc.... and one red lobster by i guess simp/tricking standards isnt that impressive. So if thats the goal u already lost. The whole point of dining out together etc... is to enjoy each others company and spend time with someone you know etc... Or because its a place you guys enjoy to eat. And i seriously doubt the food taste any different whether u use a coupon or not. It's not a matter of not wanting to pay, it's about not letting this simp society's "rules" dictate your life.
It's not about the money, it's the principle. You can shower a woman with as much money or gifts you want. But if the respect is not there, you mind as well be a sugar daddy.
