First of all, my anecdote was in response to someone saying my knowledge of the streets sounded like it came from a college classroom. I gave personal experiences to dispel that.
Secondly, the first paragraph of my anecdote (if you read it) doesn't just cover dealing drugs at a young age. It speaks of criminal leanings early on in life of different kinds leading up to more advanced crimes at later ages.
My point, for the extremely literal and oddly ignorant NTers is if you start doing crime, ie selling drugs at a late stage in life and have no history of being a criminal before that, you have no street cred or resume and in my opinion that is foolish.
