Does anyone know how long the Air Jordan line will continue?

They are playing with us,

I dont see JB lasting past 2013 because honestly just by the fact that they are dropping blk/cmt 3s again tells me that they are seriously struggling to come up with new ideas that please us. They'res only so much you can drop before the stuff gets old..I'm sick of retros, epsecially with the quality being so bad and the same old cws dropping...

The 2s have already been milkedI want to see 4s!!

When people stop lining up for them or MJ comes out and says he cheated or used performance enhancing drugs. Can't think basketball without thinking of MJ and the jumpman logo.

JB will be around until people stop buying the products they put out.

I don't see that happening anytime in the near future....some people buy anything!

It keeps us talking about them. Its a phenomenal strategy that almost no one uses.  If the 11's and cement 4's were easy to get and sold at Walmart they'd eventually go out of style or be boring.  Genius marketing!

Definitely on point, man! You said it!

NCMALKO1 killed it with that pont, but then again they release metallic black 5s 4 years after they retroed (07, retro and they are dropping this year too) also on black cement 3s, retroed in 01 and came out in CDP, and now this year. What I'm saying is they have some cws that have long intervals between retroes, concord 11s, cement 4s, grapes, etc...but then you have shoes like the one I mentioned...oh and i forgot one, tb 3s, 01 first retro, 09 japan release, and now 2011 US release....ITS TOO SOON, they need to make all the shoes like concords, cement 4s etc to keep us hooked, imagine the demand and popularity of jordan if they did that

No, they won't loose the next generation.  Think about it.  The production quality of EVERYTHING is plummeting BIG time in this country.  Food, clothes, electronics, furniture, everything.  Yet, people keep putting up with it and blindly buying.  Nobody boycotts companies, or pays attention to the fact that popular big/designer label products are literally made in the same low quality control Chinese sweatshops as the "lower end brands".  The major corporations have been screwing Americans in the @ss for quite a few years now, and they've just been taking it with a smile on their faces.  You need look no further than NT for proof of that.  A decent amount of people complain about the poor quality of JB retros on these boards, but how many of those complainers STILL go out and buy the shoes?  How many of them even wait in line, or camp out for them, despite their complaints?  Couple that with the percentage of people who say there's nothing wrong with the quality, or that it's not "that bad", and you have a very, very small minority of people left who are not only aware of the problem, but also stand by what they say/how they feel.  I think JB, along with the rest of corporate America, is in good shape for some time to come in that respect.  The bigger issue will be the inevitable complete collapse of the US dollar.  A pair of sneakers will be the last thing on your minds at that point, but that's another story...
