Y'all dudes are crazy.
He's a world class basketball player, not a fighter.
Put him in a ring or a street fight and he can and will instantly become a tomato can against someone who knows how to fight.
What good is his height advantage gonna do? Is he gonna jump over Floyd in the fight?
What good is his reach advantage gonna do...when he can't touch one of the best defensive fighters in history even with Dhalsim's reach?
Do you know that a shorter fighter who is proficient at moving, actually has an advantage over a taller fighter because of the visual parallax and the way the they mess up the taller fighters depth perception? And that's even applies to trained professional fighters. LeBron wouldn't be able to connect a punch on a good defensive fighter that much lower than him. This is how mongooses kill Cobras and how 5'11" Mike Tyson destroyed 6' 3" + fighters on the reg.
=
Plus anyone that plays ball know that if a smaller guard keeps the ball close to floor, you can't take it from them and you're pretty much at their whim when it comes to body movement, fakeouts and getting crossed up.
So he damn sure isn't connecting a single effective punch, even if he miraculously did somehow, its not knocking out Floyd because Bron doesn't know how to throw a lighting quick compact shot to the snooze button.
And if 5'10" Oscar DLH can connect on 7'1" Shaq and rock his head with head gear on and 50% power on his shot you think 5'8" Floyd wouldn't have 6'9" LeBron's head spinning on a swivel? Be real y'all.
So Floyd clearly has the advantage with the hands...what is Bron gonna do?....kick him?
Neither one of them are martial artists, so the kicking game is null and void.
That only leaves wrestling.
And again LeBron is not a trained fighter so I don't know where ya'll getting this image of him running up on Floyd and choking him out.
The last thing you want to do is rush into someone that is a master of timing and distance. You'll get clocked...
Plus a shorter fighter often has the center of gravity advantage over an untrained taller fighter. The height difference between Nate Robinson and JR Smith is the same as that between Mayweather and Bron. JR got flipped and slammed by shorty and would've gotten ground and pounded if Nate wasn't pulled off.
Same reason Running Backs are usually shorter guys and get lower to the ground to evade tackles from much bigger men.
Talking bout he'll run up and start strangling him
LeBron is not a jiu-jitsu master, he's not gonna put him in an arm bar or a triangle choke.
Plus boxers spend hundreds of hours weight and strength training for their neck (II).
We're talking about trained fighters to whom death is a reality of their sport, man.
They are built for war.
Even if Bron does get close enough and is fumbling for this perfect choke that he somehow knows how to pull off, he's gonna be getting clobbered, eye gouged, bitten, choked back etc. If a 5'2" 110 pound woman who knows what to do, can fend off a much larger attacker when adrenaline is flowing, I'm sure a world class boxer who grew up street fighting can too.
At the end of the day.....take away all of the training and what ifs and you're still putting someone who's skeletal, nervous, respiratory and endocrine systems are perfectly honed for fighting and reacting to life threatening situations against someone who is one of the most laid back, non-confrontational stars the NBA has ever seen.
Floyd is not losing to Wade or LBJ in a FIGHT.
