Got me looking at bruh stats and Em has 5 diamond albums. 

:x Beastly. Em's popularity is definitely partly because he's white, but also because he's so good you can't deny his talent in a field people that look like him generally aren't dominant, so that resonated. Think Larry Bird or Obama, of course there are others, but these dudes were damn near flawless.

I think em is successful because 1. He can actually rap, like the subject matter or not dude can spit. 2. He is kinda relateable. Hes the teenage angst of rap music.


Again id buy the hes successful because hes white nonsense if white rappers were generally successful. Mac millet aint moving units like that.

And Mac Miller is in a different time people don't buy albums like that anymore. Even if he did still don't think he'd sell more than Eminem though.

This is how i feel about burgers. Pizza isnt overrated in general but basic pizza is. Like burgers it has to be exceptional for me to really enjoy it.

Fair enough..like those legit pizza joints are great.

But Pizza Pizza, Poppa Johns type of fast food is whack. Same with burgers too but I feel like there are more options for exceptional burgers than exceptional pizza joints.

Em is successful because he's good and white. The middle ground is definitely the best explanation for his career. The man has real technical skills, he also has the gift of making absolutely ridiculous songs and getting away with it because of his complexion. I know everyone has come across a white person who doesn't listen to rap but they listen to Em. I'm sure we all know why as well.

em is a good rapper and probably one of the best lyricist out there... but i dont understand how people claim hes the best ever... i cant stand his style or voice and that alone would prevent me from buying his album... the same could be said about kendrick lamar whos also a good rapper but dont like his voice or style so i would never bump his music like that... but if they were featured on someone elses song i would probably appreciate them more
