DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

Big Disneyland goer here. On my way home from spending yesterday and today at the parks actually. Was worse than new years yesterday for the diamond celebration. If anyone needs insight let me know. I can try to point you in the right direction

How was the diamond celebration? Heard on the news the lines were insane and people were just passing out on Main street.

Got to experience both places as a kid, loved every second of it

Thankful that my parents were able to take me

I used to have the premium pass years ago. Like when it was $500. If prices had not gone up, I would do it again,

I really want those Star Wars posters. Tempted to pay $60 on ebay.

Thanks man i about to drop $60 as well. Got a boba fett stein too. Sucks being Disney/ Star Wars collaboration hypebeast

depends when you go, I had a season pass and took the family every now and then. Some days are just so crowded that literally a waste of your time and money. OP do you have kids? I never understood the appeal of this place to people that don't have kids.

Just finished my last shift of working there for 2 1/2 years yesterday. Honestly the best experience I've had. 24 Hour Day was ridiculous.

I've heard nothing but great things about working for Disney. Any pics of the Bball Court in Matterhorn by chance while you were up there w the new and improved yeti?!

Been a premium holder of Disneyland for years, it's always great. Just came back from Disneyworld last night. They obviously have some things that are different there, and vice versa.

Hot. Humid. Unbreathable air.
Tower of terror FL > Tower of terror CA
Splash Mountains are exactly the same except the seating
Fantasmic FL > Fantasmic CA, seating is way more convenient
Star Tours is the same at both sites
Space Mountain CA >>>>> Space Mountain FL in every aspect
Soarin' over CA is exactly the same as Soarin'. Exactly the same.
Buzz Lightyear Astor Blasters in CA > Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin FL. Guns are different. Trigger finger in CA, more canon-like in FL.
Big Thunder FL > Big Thunder CA
Expedition Everest > Matterhorn

Epcot Center was amazing. If there's one place I could go to everyday that would be it.

Overall both places are on par with one another but I'd give the slight nod to Disneyland because you can get everything in one park hop where you have to hop to 4-5 different parks to go on the same rides in WDW.

Definitely worth the price of admission on both sides though.

Did you ever go to Club 33??

My Cousin was a waiter at a restaurant in Downtown Disney, and one day they randomly selected him and a group of waiters / waitresses to work Club "33"

My first time on Space Mountain:

My Mom's work (GTE

Planning on going in mid August (11th-13th)... never been in the summer, is it one of those " too crowded to do anything kind of times "...?!!

**** that...place sucks and is a complete tourist trap/money pit.

Took my daughter earlier this year for her 3rd b-day, and I'll NEVER go back.

While waiting for rides, and counting the dollars spent/wasted on the trip...you then think about other locations around the world you could have gone to for the same price and had a better time.

Wait times + insane crowds = no bueno for me
Don't have kids. Haven't been since 1994 or so. But I am sure I would have the same attitude that you have.

been to disney land before a while ago when i was still a kid but never been to disney world... but it was definitely a fun experience

October through December is the perfect time to go due to all the Halloween and Christmas themes they have going plus wait times are not as long. Not really worth it during summer. Too many people in motorized scooters and parents with strollers moving like molasses.

And I would never go on a fri, sat or sun. Only tues-Thursday. I would just take the day off or call in sick from work.

Figured, summer only time ya kids really out of school though, plus get back from my deployment in July and wanted to go during my time off.

Went last year during thxgiving week, was busy.. I can only imagine summer.

o well

Do yourself a favor and go the week after Veterans Day. It's the start of the Christmas season but before thanksgiving so it shouldn't be terribly busy seeing as how a lot of families gear up towards the need of November.

yea I was going to go tues, wed and thurs. Was gonna cop the 3 day hopper pass

You staying at shades of green? Use the extra magic hours and hit the parks early and late. And good luck, hot and humid as a mutha, thunderstorms at 3pm daily and the place is crowded especially for the fireworks at all the parks.
Personally, Disney water parks>>> Disney parks. Hit up discovery cove if you can.

What's there to do in Epcot? We made it our first park to hit up last time we were there and ended up getting bored. Wait times for the test track place weren't great and couldn't even get a fast pass to that. Ended up just taking the bus to AK and spending the rest of the day there.

Test track was my favorite. It's sort of similar to Radiator Springs Racers in CA which I enjoy. Mission Space was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Just make sure if you go again to pick the more intensive training because the basic is meh. Spaceship Earth is cool to me because I'm someone who likes history but I can see why others don't find it fun. The best parts were really tasting foods from all the different cultures. The only problem I had was bringing a bottle of powerade which obviously got warm. I asked a cashier for a small cup of ice and the ***** tried to charge me $3 for it. Walked away and didn't say a word. Illuminations is cool because the displays of all the earths beings are shown. It really opens your eyes and shows you how much we take nature for granted. Club cool was nice to go to when I felt a need for refreshing. Got to try Coca Cola products from around the world for free. The only one I didn't like was an Italian soda called Beverly. Bitter. It was disgusting, can't see how anyone would ever buy it, it's not like beer where the alcohol makes up for the flavor. It's just gross.

Animal Kingdom was awesome too. I felt bad for the rhinos though. They're huge but look peaceful yet they're always being poached even on reservations.

Was there a week ago, copped the passes. Will be going back on the first before we're blacked out for the summer. Love this place.
