What’s y’all’s favorite main dish from Lamplight?

We’re def hitting lobster nachos but in the past I’ve gotten the burger and while it wasn’t bad I want something a little better or larger if we’re sitting down.

Woke up at 5:30 am and got to Disneyland around 9:00 AM

Hyperspace was down, so we went on Star Tours and it was different. It took us to some mountains and there were AT-ATs attacking and then we went to this big black ball city, pause. Wait time said it was 10 minutes but it was actually 5.

Then Hyperspace was up again and we got there at 9:15 and by 9:30 we were off the ride. Next we did Big Thunder which said it was 30 but was actually about 15.

The longest wait was story book canal, followed by casey jr.

I wanted to try the chocolate sand cookie at the milk stand but they said they haven't had it in a while since it was limited. I also tried the mon cala swirl which was good, but pricey at $9.79.

I also had the lobster mac and cheese at Harbour galley. Eating there was disgusting as this guy who had both arms in a cast, while in a wheelchair, faced my direction, about 4 feet from me and coughed right at me. I tried to shield my food as best as I could.

I also got a reservation to WoC so heading back home now. Now going to leave again at around 5:30 or 6 to try and make it there by 9 to catch the show.

So last night I took the 3 hour drive back to DCA again for WoC and it was worth it, in a sense.

Got a decent viewing area, but it was crowded. There were a lot of high schoolers there. My friend told me to move in front of him for a better viewing area.

I was wearing these Ralph Lauren hiking pants, so it's a really thin piece of nylon between my meat and the pants and this girl, who I assume was of legal age, was dancing and twerking. When I moved in front of him her mass stroked against me. I instantly went from 6 to 12 and when she felt it she turned around and gave me this glare while I was like this

Cooking Up the Magic: Pride Rock Punch Recipe, Celebrate Soulfully Delights Coming Soon to Disneyland Resort

Get ready to embrace your soulful side with some delicious treats and excitement coming to Disneyland Resort this summer. Throughout the month of June, we are continuing our festivities for Celebrate Soulfully with the introduction of some tasty treats, eats, and sips honoring Black heritage and culture.

Multiple locations at Disneyland Resort are serving up selections to highlight Black Music Month with not-to-be-missed experiences filled with food, entertainment, art, and, of course, music! For foodie fun, you can taste test the Chicken-coconut Curry Sweet Potato at Troubadour Tavern hosted by Dreyer’s™ or the delicious Peaches and Cream Funnel Cake Fries from Award Wieners, but that’s not all to take part in. From “Tale of the Lion King” debuting at Disneyland park on May 28 to live entertainment showing the sweet sounds of classic Black music genres like Doo-Wop and Motown, there’s so much to enjoy at the resort to help you “celebrate soulfully”!

Now, let’s get to the food!

Salted Plantain Chips, Berbere-spice Popcorn, Chicken-coconut Curry Sweet Potato and sweets from Hakuna Matata Sweets

Starting May 28, Troubadour Tavern hosted by Dreyer’s at Disneyland park will be filled with special items that join the excitement, many of which can be found on Mobile Order on the Disneyland app. For tasty snacks, try the Salted Plantain Chips or the Berbere-spice Popcorn tossed with a warming blend of spices.

The Chicken-coconut Curry Sweet Potato features a baked sweet potato topped with a Malawian chicken-coconut curry – yum! For a sweeter option, Hakuna Matata Sweets offer up a trio of animal print cookies, including a coconut macaroon, pineapple orange thumbprint, and a butter chocolate chunk cookie topped with cacao nibs and a white chocolate animal print décor. Or for a bright and refreshing treat, try the Nestlé® Outrageous Orange Push-up® frozen dairy dessert!

Cardamom Cold Brew and Pride Rock Punch

To complete your soulful meal with one (or all) of these items, add a beverage! The Cardamom Cold Brew is made up of cold brew coffee, brown sugar, and cardamom over ice. The Pride Rock Punch, with the recipe found down below, brings together Gold Peak tea, pineapple, mango, tamarind, and orange juice over ice. Talk about refreshing. All great options to grab and enjoy while you take in a performance of “Tale of the Lion King” at the Fantasyland Theatre!

Foot-long BBQ Pulled Pork Dog and Peaches and Cream Funnel Cake Fries

Now, let’s take a little trip over to Disney California Adventure park where Award Wieners has some treats featured from June 1 through September 2. First up, the Foot-long BBQ Pulled Pork Dog puts an all-beef foot-long hot dog on a toasted bun topped with BBQ pulled pork, fried onions, and a creamy slaw. If you’re looking for a sweet finish, the Peaches and Cream Funnel Cake Fries dusted with cinnamon sugar and finished with whipped topping and peach glaze drizzle is a must-try.

Starting June 1, the GCH Craftsman Bar at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has a dish and a cocktail for Celebrate Soulfully. If the Jerk Seasoned Beef Tenderloin Skewers & Coconut Shrimp with raspberry rum sauce sounds tasty to you, consider getting the Summer Cocktail also to try all the specialty items! This delicious refreshment perfectly combines Parrot Bay Rum, Svedka Vodka, orange juice, pineapple juice, and grenadine.

Peach Pie Old Fashioned, Bred’s Nashville Hot Chicken, and Rainbow Happy Ice

Plus, the Downtown Disney District has some tasty treats for Celebrate Soulfully too! Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen has a delicious Peach Pie Old Fashioned. This drink has Uncle Nearest Whiskey, a splash of Peachtree Liquor, a dash of Peychaud’s Bitters, brown sugar, and peach. In addition, there are some food trucks joining in on the celebrations June 1 through July 4. Bred’s Nashville Hot Chicken truck is serving up some delicious spicy fried chicken options, so if you like some spice, this is for you. Happy Ice will also be rolling in to feature Ultra-premium Philadelphia Italian Ice treats as a perfect tasty option to have some fun and stay cool! Stop by anytime after 3:00 p.m. to enjoy these tasty eats and treats from these new spots.

When you come next week the AT-AT’s seem to only be at one popcorn stand across the courtyard from the entrance of Hyperspace Mountain. rfx45 rfx45
