DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

alright finally decided to stop being lazy and edit some of my pics and post about NYE

so the park wasn’t as busy as i had expected. i e seen the park at its worst pre pandemic where you could barely walk due to the crowds. this wasn’t even close. it was busy but not crazy, on the lower end of busy if that makes sense. wait times all seemed to be an hour or below except for the expected (RotR, RS racers and web slingers). as it got later i expected it to get crazier but it never really happened. for the NYE set up they had DJs at the castle, in front of SW and on Ton Sawyer Island. it was really cool actually and people and the cast members looked like they were having a great time. people did congregate i. those areas which made it harder to get through (especially the castle) but that was to be expected anyways. they did a good job with the crowd control. we ended up finding a table at jolly holiday to catch the fire works/countdown. Over it was a great time and will definitely be doing NYE there again. we were there thursday - sunday and sunday was the busiest day by far.

pics in spoiler to not clog up the thread

I was there on NYE too, had a great day overall, especially considering it was my first time there.

Took us 3 tries to finally ride ROTR, waited about 3 hours, but after the second breakdown they gave us free lightning lane passes to come back later.

Park hopped twice, went over to DCA to eat at Pym and ride Web Slingers, that was a damn arm workout

Went back to DL for the 9pm countdown + fireworks since I'm from the east coast anyways, did not want to find out how much the ubers and lyfts would be after midnight lol

I'm sure I'll be back, might as well put my comp tickets to good use on future west coast trips, no clue when I'll head back down to WDW

oh yeah i forgot to mention, on NYE we got the genie+ since the park was open late and we could use it for more hours. so it was working fine around 1pm we got a lightning lane for Indy @2:30. we show up and the ride was close. they changed the reservation to one of those generic “multiple experiences” passes. so we went and used it and Thunder mountain. we walked around a bit an i noticed it was still there. o closed the app and reopened it multiple times and it was still there….long story short it was there the rest of the day, used it a good 5-7 times

love star tours, i onyl get dizzy because i would ride it like 5 times due to wait times being 10min or less most of the time

it does annoy me when i get the same scenarios consecutively, there's supposed to be like 700 different combos and i get jarjar binks 5x in a row? random my *ss

Went Jan 1 tried to squeeze in CA and disneyland. Got in at 8am went straight to GOG was like a 20 min line then went to spider-man another 1 hour line.

A lot of people but lines were not bad. Used genie plus on ROTR, Space Mountain, Soaring which desperately needs an update , Grizzly mountain, Matter horn.

damn, this dude went on a ”shop lifting spree”

The incident unfolded Dec. 6 as a Universal loss prevention officer watched Walsh approach a Harry Potter Christmas ornament display and take four ornaments, one representing each Hogwarts house, and hide them in his right hand, the Orlando Police Department arrest affidavit said.

Walsh left the ornament display and stuck the ornaments in the large Universal Studios merchandise bag he already had, the report said, before returning to the ornaments to steal another set.

Then Walsh headed to the display selling phone cases and put a Death Eaters and a Ravenclaw phone case in his bag. Following that, Walsh went back to the Christmas ornaments and put more in his bag, police said.

Next, Walsh moved to the Harry Potter-themed socks and stuck several pairs in his bag. Walsh returned to the Christmas ornaments display for a fourth time and stole more ornaments. before walking to the scrapbook display and concealing a Harry Potter scrapbook under his arm.

Lastly, he seized a Harry Potter throw blanket from the shelf and left the Universal Studios Store without paying, the report said. Exiting out the doors which face Despicable Me Minion Mayhem Mayhem, Universal’s security quickly stopped him and escorted him back for questioning.

Walsh admitted he stole the Wizarding World of Harry Potter merchandise, which cumulatively cost $827, from the store, the report said. He also admitted he had stolen other items from the park.

Here in Texas, if you pop positive, but asymptomatic, you’re supposed to go to work. My wife and I are teachers. I’m a coach as well in the middle of basketball season. I’ve had a third of my team in and out of practice because their parents are positive, but they’re allowed to attend school/team stuff because they’re negative. Not knowing if they’re carriers or anything.

So of course I am now positive (tested Friday, as well as, positive for flu), my wife is positive (mostly asymptomatic), twins are positive (asymptomatic), and awaiting results for my 5 yr old. All home for the whole week.

A lot of this is how we’re being told to go about things that are so *** backwards from what they were a year ago.
