Well after planning a successful trip on available dates that I thought were on demand in Oct. I’m not sure about my magic key passes for the fam. I can’t book any dates that work for me through end of Jan. Gotta admit I feel a little cheated. I thought I was gonna be able to go whenever. I live 4 hrs away. So I got Oct tickets and now can’t find anything that works in my schedule thru end of Jan. I honestly thought I was gonna be able to just drop in at a random Fri/Sat/Sun (at bare min weekdays I can get my kids out of school). I guess I’ll eventually get my money’s worth but I’m not sold on renewing my passes.

I'm no expert but NYE is on Friday and then obviously Saturday is new years. So both days likely going to be packed. Don't know your schedule but you'd prob be better off during the week.

its kind of random, the last two times they did it, it was after a lot of complaints so they opened up
some more rez, not sure if its related to that or as you said theres just more tickets available they freed itbup for APs

what they do is they have separate buckets for APs and regular day tickets so once the AP bucket is empty that was it even if the other buckets still has some available

but rolling date availability usually starts midnight pst iirc

id checkout theme park websites like wdwnt or even follow them on social media if you have any as theyre usually first to report them

so dude in the vid b*tchin that he cant reserve in december he has 6 rez days… well maybe he could have reserved december days if he wasnt reserving current days using up the 6 rez because he has to make park content?

its really as simple as that, i had a lot of opportunity to reserve those dates because i am not reserving 6 continuous days to visit the park for content

like what does this guy want? remove the guest limit when theyre at 80% castmembers and having issues with union? there is still a damn pandemic in case we forget

and to compare it to knotts and universal, no one wants to go on those parks i have a universal AP and when i go on a wednesday afternoon, parks empty and everything's a walk-on and theres maybe 1/10th of the things you could do and thats why theres no reservation, theres no crowd to control

Going on the 11th, 12th and 13th for my niece's annual bday trip. I got my 3 day park hopper later than the rest of the group so my reservations don't match up with theirs for two of the three days. I know It won't matter after 1pm but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way I can call customer service to change it to match theirs so we we can be in the same parks in the morning?

I have no problem with the 6 day limit. I’m perfectly ok with the blackout days for the believe key, and I wouldn’t go on holidays anyways. I used 4 days in the weekdays of Halloween week. Was only at park for 2 full days but wanted to surprise my kids that we could go the night we arrived and morning we left to sneak a few rides in. I didn’t even think twice I had to use those other 2 days. I booked last week of January the other day just to get something on the books. Picked up the 18th of Nov when it became available and am looking for the 17th or 19th. After talking it out on NT and seeing DL release a few more resies today I’m hopeful I can work my schedule out and it won’t be as bad as I thought. I’m obviously on Team Washed, didn’t realize the serious business that DL is. didnt realize that people just go there to get clicks for some e-fame. My error was not considering there were limits which make sense in hind sight. And watching it the last 2 days, I noticed there appears to be separate pools for each key class too. So even though someone may be a Dream key they may miss out on believe key allotments. Makes sense. As long as DL is flexible with releasing additional resies based on single ticket sales I think it willl all work out. Lesson learned is I need to do a little pre-planning. Been away from SoCal too long forgot how dense the population has gotten.

as far as that tool vlogger goes, I have to admit I was surprised by all the vloggers walking around by themselves with their go pros talking to themselves stating the *#}%ing obvious. Total annoying dweebs and they looked the part too. Doubt they are even there to be entertained.

for fam above trying to meet with family, maybe you could call customer service and see if they can help you. I was chatting with a cast member earlier trying to figure out the resie days because my available days weren’t matching what the website showed for available believe key dates. She recommended I call customer service to figure out what days I could get in. Worth a shot.

i’ve had zero issues with my dream key. all it takes is some pre planning. most people complain online seem to be locals who are mad that they can’t go last minute. some guy on reddit was complaining that him and his wife would 4-5 timesa week just to walk around the park. wanted to break it to the guy that THAT is was they don’t want anymore.

for non locals like me we have to pre plan our trips anyways for the most part. looking 60days ahead isn’t too difficult


as for the funny in the video, should have done his research before buying. i see way too many people complaining about things that were clearly stated prior to purchase. like how TF are you a disney content creator but didn’t know about the reservation system? ****

definitely give customer service a call and if they cant help you out or dont want to be on hold for an hour, once in the park talk to customer service and i bet they could help straighten it all out, just go earlier and talk to them

if you’re staying at a disney property someone there should be able to help you too, no need to go inside the park

We’re about four months from the debut of our new runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend and I’m excited to share details about the “surprise’’ part of this unique event, whose theme will change each year.

This inaugural event borrows from some all-time favorite runDisney events and combines them with exciting new twists and turns for a totally unique experience.

When March 31-April 3, 2022 rolls around, runners will embark on a nostalgic four-day race weekend that will have them reliving wonderful past runDisney memories while creating new ones during the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration.

The inaugural Springtime Surprise Weekend will feature:

Expedition Everest 5K (April 1, 2022) – The race will once again feature a nighttime 5K combined with a scavenger hunt, but this time the hunt will be conducted during the 5K.
Race for the Taste 10K (April 2, 2022) – The event will mirror the 10K from the past, but now the race will celebrate the newest attraction at Walt Disney World Resort, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT.
The Tower of Terror 10-Miler (April 3, 2022) – The race will still be a 10-miler, but will be run in the morning instead of at night.
Runners who sign up for the Springtime Surprise Challenge, can test their endurance by participating in all three events – 19.3 total miles – and earn a special “challenge’’ medal while perhaps also reminiscing throughout the weekend.

And if you’re in the mood for more relaxation, there will also be a sunrise yoga event in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park to kick off the weekend, similar to the recently announced yoga event that leads off the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend in Feb. 2022.

I was there last week and didn’t see it. Actually I didn’t even see anyone walking around with one on em. We checked out all the gift shops in both parks. Not sure if they do restocks at DL. Been trying to figure that one out. My wife was after some blue avengers characters backpack. That one came out in Sept and was sold out in Oct by time we got there. Employees gave us the “really” look. Haha. I’m still new to all this but I’m starting to get the feeling the in park only souvenirs are hunted.

when I was there in Sep it sold out in DCA and found in a store in Frontierland at DL later that night

I think by October it was practically gone by mid-day just like the Mickey Mummy Popcorn Bucket

I actually did see one popcorn stand with the Mickey on the 26th. It was the one right outside Soarin. Only place I saw it. They had 1 box however many that is.

yeah they usually restock towards the middle of the day but they dont bring out all the stock at once, they do save some for the next day
