Yes. A man doesn't let his girl pay for dinner
That would be embarrassing.
I've had two woman say things along the lines of if they go Dutch on a date then they aren't interested in the man or that the man should be paying for the date which turned me off to both of them. I've tried to get two woman with jobs to split a date with me and they both said they have no money. Turned off as well.
I'm a southern boy that grew up with only sisters. I take pride in assuming the helm of a courtship and that entails paying for dates. I similarly take my friends out all the time and cover the tab. For me, it's just a love and respect thing. Obviously, if the relationship progresses and shorty and I see each other often, eventually she will offer to pay and I don't resist her contribution efforts. Part of being a man is taking care of those you care about. The money only becomes an issue when it becomes an expectation. That's the only time I ever refuse to cover a tab. I felt this way when I was broke and I continue to feel this way now that I got a couple of dollars. If I can't pay for a date, I refuse to ask a woman out. I'm not comfortable with that dynamic. I also don't go on a ton of dates. I only take a chick out on a proper date if I'm genuinely interested in her beyond physical desires. I believe gender roles help the sexes compliment one another. When I make her feel like a lady by being the conductor of the courtship, she will reciprocate by making me feel like a man through non-financial related tasks. It balances out in the long run. Money isn't the only thing that an individual can take care of to add value.

Facts.
If you aren't able to take care of those around you then it just doesn't feel right. Respect money, but understand it is a mean to an end. If you are stacking your chips in this petty way you should reconsider. My cousins flew in from out of town to visit our family - I paid for 8 movie tickets. It's either in your nature or not I guess. If they want to stop by the snack bar they'll use their own funds. This is a simple understanding among well mannered people.
I completely understand this.Man it's a ******, depressing feeling when you're not able to take care of those around you. I spoil my fam now just off not being able to in the past.Facts.I'm a southern boy that grew up with only sisters. I take pride in assuming the helm of a courtship and that entails paying for dates. That might be the funniest reason to get a joint account that I have ever heard. If you're married, just get a joint account for dates. Both contribute funds to it evenly. You can give the waiter the card yourself to play the role if you like.
Most guys could get a woman to pay for dates and even pay your bills but what kind of man does that make you ? Living off of a woman is sad. That's why pimps are looked down on.
Don't worry Frank. You're gonna own that place one day.If footlocker gave me a raise then id pay more often
I think that's dope if a chick is willing to pay for the date. Doesn't make you less of a man. Hell, if a chick usually waits 6 month before sleeping with a guy and you got her on the first date, that means your THAT guy. What you gonna call him a misogynist because she found him dope enough to break her morals? Most guys could get a woman to pay for dates and even pay your bills but what kind of man does that make you ?
She says she usually waits 6 months to sleep with a guy but she sleeps with you the first night. Our lie detector determined that was a lie.I think that's dope if a chick is willing to pay for the date. Doesn't make you less of a man.
