Max is a strait goon. Jimmy put up the money for his bail, but he got all of that back. Max helped Jim write his most successful album and his only real hit (fly high) which Jimmy on a independant label was makin hella cake off it and didnt break Max off wit nothin, actin like dogg, I bailed you out what else you want from me? I mean Max B should've came out right after Jim he was in every video on the hook for baby girl and g's up, he put his heart into all the Byrd Gang tapes and repped hard for Capo with nothing in return.
Max is a funny dude man, and he talks alot of trash on the dvds but his music backs up everything, completely original. Yeah he sings but he always kept it hood and his bars were on point. He may not have been the best lyricist but his style was original in an era when everybody in NY was tuff talkin Max was makin real music. New York needs Max back he was thier last hope imo. He truely is a real goon he already did like nine years in prison, now he back in for another forty, everybody complains how rappers dont live what they spittin, Max got a jail record. Not tryna glorify it just facts. he did leave us with that wave tho.
I like French and think he makes decent music, but he took Max whole style, from the music to his flow to the True Religion even how he acts I even be hearin him laugh like Max. If anyone could get away with that it would be French as long as he keeps it one hunnit and dont act like Max aint put him on the map.
