You say that like LBJ advanced to the Finals or something..
You say that like Kobe didn't shoot 6-24 in game 7 and didn't get bailed out or something.
Of course he didn't advance to the finals when what was supposed to be his #2 man in Antawn Jamison averaged 12 points on 42% shooting, 7 rebounds and 1 assist against the Celtics, whereas Kobe had all kinds of players to bail him out throughout the finals, starting with the guy who he robbed of his finals MVP and who averaged close to 19 on 48%, 12, 4 and 3. Not to mention Derek Fisher in game 3 and Artest in game 7.
It's the same story as last year. Both seasons LeBron and Kobe met the same teams in the playoffs with LeBron owning Kobe individually in both series and putting up better and more efficient numbers while Kobe gets the win due to a better supporting cast and superior coaching.
