And the irony of him now doing a pod sponsored by gambling, when that was a point of contention when he/Mero split, is hilarious.

I don’t think Mero and Desus were really that close. They sort of knew each other but they didn’t really connect until Twitter and Complex. And Mero’s boy is Victor who Desus doesn’t seem to like at all. I think a reunion is possible but unlikely.
Mero went full Dominican with Victory Light. If he’s taking a backseat on 7pm, he’s going to need some non-platano content to remain mainstream.

I don’t know if I can picture a reunion. Desus thought he caught a lick with the Hollywood route. It would be a tough pill to swallow for him to acknowledge that it didn’t pan out.

Yeah the VL podcast is hilarious, but by not being Dominican, I miss out on like half the jokes.
More power to them to rep their culture though.And I really can’t see those dudes working together again, tbh. Both seem stubborn as hell. And it isn’t like they’ve been homies since childhood. They had a dope run though.

Seems like he's an active writer out there in LA so he's alright. This pod like once every 2 weeks too, sounds like easy money for however long it lasts.
