For all the bad stuff humans do, we're still less evil than dolphins. If dolphins evolve more and rise up to take over, you'll wish humans were still in charge.

By killing off certain species, humans have been destabilizing certain ecosystems through out history, killing off most of the American bison was a good example. If Lions completely die-off, we have no idea what adverse effects might occur(higher Non-alpha predator attacks might lead to more attacks on African people, more herbivores eating vegetation viable for the local population, higher population of a certain animal that is a carrier of a deadly disease, etc, etc., etc...). So it is wise for us to help maintain what narture has established long before we were even a factor in the ecosystem of our planet, you numbskull. And I said how I feel. You quoted it right there. So unless dogs are a critical part of keeping the ecosystem stable for humans...................
Humans have also created the concept of language which allows us to communicate with one another. If other Animals were able to communicate with language in pre-historic times we would've been extinct from day 1.We have the intellect to build tools like weapons to kill other animals. Its out brain that puts us at the top.

im not one of those animals > humans type of people BUT
if there weren't any humans on earth this planet, animals, rainforests, oceans, etc would flourish.
also whose to say that its our planet? its pretty much an ocean planet, the biggest creatures are in the ocean, the oldest creatures are in the ocean, sharks were here b4 trees.
animals think pretty simple from what I've seen, eat, produce, chill, protect, basic mindsets
ol boy that killed those 9 people in charleston, the **** kind of mindset is that
i would never choose an animal over a human but I'm just saying theres certain areas where we can do better.

and thisAnimals don't poses critical thinking skills and the ability to reason. It's not just about making weapons. Most of what we know about our environment we learned by studying and observing animals. They're in touch with the physical 5 sense reality in ways we will never be and our brain is physically more advanced than theirs being that most of them operate almost exclusively on instinct and survival. Most of us aren't slaves to the reptilian brain and I believe that great responsibility comes with that.

How do we know what another animal is able to do cognitively? Again whatever form of assessment that we use on them is BIASED.Not seeing why that is so hard to grasp.
Stop saying animals can't think critically. That is another thing humans tell themselves and have no idea what they are even talking about
And you must have skipped the rest of my posts in this thread. It's an ecosystem you ignorant goof....disrupt ecosystems and directly or indirectly it disrupts everything...you must have skipped science class.

It's not that animals don't have a form of language per say but it's the fact that human language is so complex that we've created and shaped human culture. I'm not trying to say that humans are so much superior than animals but mastering language has helped us shape civilization and the way we live and function today.how do you know animals don't speak or have a different form of language which is communication ? you speak lion/dog/elephant etc. ?
Right so we are judging them on something that we deem important. What if a crow gave you a test to determine your innate meteorology skills. We wod fail. So I am again saying we can't place our intelligence above theirs because we can create a test and say they don't make the cut. They can think critically but not by our generalized definition of critical thinking which Is why I used that term
what kind of coward wants to shoot an animal for no reason
I've always felt dudes who hunt for sport are sick in the head

We only test them in ways we know. And based on the tests we've conducted, they are way less intelligent and thus less versatile as a whole compared to humans. Whereas, our potential is limitless(so far). But, life is precious no matter what(universally).Right so we are judging them on something that we deem important.
