^ do yall mean the cheapest selvage/selvedge jeans you can buy? sanforized jeans just means that are made in a process that doesn't allow them to not shrink a ton. i'm sure there are $5 sanforized jeans out there. selvage/selvedge jeans are more expensive and range a lot of quality. just because its selvedge doesnt mean its any good.

I always wear basketball shorts underneath so they fit a little more snug. I'd say they have the same fit as 511's.

For whoever is interested - an initial review of IH 301s.
The fit is absolutely terrific. A little snug in the waist, but you can actually feel the denim's capacity to stretch. Looking forward to seeing how these settle. This particular cut is slim/straight through the leg with about a 7in hem. This isn't an ideal cut for bigger dudes or even those with larger thighs/calves, but they fit me perfectly. 

For being a 21oz denim, they breathe extremely well. Wearing them for the past 5 hours in Houston during the summer, I expected to 

 at the weight. They are easily the most breathable jeans I have ever wore and you really lose sight of the weight of the denim. Dare I say they even kind of keep me cool?

That's really all I have to put down at the moment, but I did take some deets for those that care.

Paid $300. According to kiya, the reason for the length is most of these denim companies make different sizes, not lengths. It would prove too costly to do so. The solution is for them to produce one length and have the buyer alter the length accordingly. 

Not tying my shoes is the effect of me being %%!%*+! lazy

I've been researching the Unbranded Brand denim for quite some time on one of the "other sites", and I finally decided to cop a pair of the tapered indigos in a size 28. Got them, and they were extremely tight, so I regretted sizing down on them. I sent them back for a size 30 skinny, (the only one that Karmaloop had available) and they should be here tomorrow. I hope they have a better fit because I can't return them if they do!
