Best repair place?
I live in a pretty small town, and I tore one of my pairs years ago. Small tailor fixed it pretty well, and it lasted for quite a while. I’d say that’s a pretty common repair for tailors, you should be fine at your local spot. Just ask them if they’d try to color match the area. If you’re not sure if your shop can do it, there’s spots like railcar, and self edge, as well as others that offer mail In services. Is it pretty common for a tailor to be able to something like this? I think I would show them a picture like that before I left my jeans with them. Nudie is supposed to offer free repairs but when I contacted the US shops they said they weren’t doing repairs by mail.
My struggle, feeling like a plumber.Low rise cut needs to be abolished. What grown man is walking around with a baby pelvis?
Some of my fav pair are ruined by how tiny the front rise is

What's a recommendation for selvedge with a regular rise?...like this style
Do not own a pair of PBJs but recommend checking out the sizing chart on Okayama Denim. They even have measurements for the jeans after 1 soak.Grabbing a new pair of PBJs (I think)…either SLB, EX, or SR in the 019 or 013 fit. Not sure which out of those to go with. Just want a slim fit similar to APC petit new standard but with the slubby texture.
Iron Heart 888 cut or 555 (slimmer silhouette)My struggle, feeling like a plumber.

Which fit did you go w?i forgot how uncomfortable and itchy PBJs start off as
I have the same issue. I literally measured my current jeans and compared them to a sites measurements and when I got my package, they they weren’t even remotely the same and the ball crushing commenced. I’m still trying to find that right brandYou def gotta look at measurements from the maker and the retailer. They are hardly 100% accurate but it gives you a baseline, I would then measure some of my favorite fitting jeans and see how they stack up to potential purchases. Rinse, repeat and hope the measurements are accurate. My problem is perpetually buying off Grailed and the seller provided measurements are wrong. But still, low rise is just stupid, no one is walking around showing two inches of pubes like they’re Brad Pitt on Venice Beach. Not workwear dudes at least. Leave that shh to Abercrombie
