Bunch of things cause it .. pants too tight pants too loose and low .. riding a bike or walking up and down mad stairs etc over time it stresses that area

I think if you catch it before it truly happens and blows out on you ,you can get it “Darned” or whatever or some jeans are even reinforced from the inside with added fabric tape/ another layer

Been on a hunt for some warehouse DD-1001XX with the arches and red tab (japan exclusive due to the levis lawsuit) in my larger size.

didn’t know Hinoya.shop ships internationally so I tried it out, will report back when they come in

will probably hunt a heavier ounce red tab samurai pair for the winter too. Also re-stumbled on the superdenim forum on superfuture/supertalk. This feels like 08 again, definitely forgot all about that message board.

Depends on what you’re into. SF is probably a good starting point but a lot of posters there don’t seem to have as much experience as those a decade ago (see archibald London handwelt thread). The Fedora Lounge had a thread that went down a rabbit hole on the Real McCoys brand that SF doesn’t have, not sure on sufu.

A lot of SF also has a weird obsession with measurements when the reality is they’re average body type and they’d be fine going TTS. There’s countless threads where guys will obsess over measurements only to get the garment and have it fit bad.

Finally picked up the Full Count’s KingJamesTheFifth reco’d from my girls place. Fit is perfect and material is the perfect weight . Just need to fix the cuffing threw em on right away to fit.

My third pair of raw’s and these are the heaviest but feels more breathable .

I hate 512s, just bought 4 pairs that I am gonna have to get rid of.

When it comes to non "made & crafter"/premium stuff. Certain Levi's models aren't as consistent when it comes to qc. There's like quality tiers when it comes to places you buy their stuff.
