Should be ok if you do a wash and hang dry. Hand/tub wash if you want to be careful but a machine wash with no spin cycle should be fine.

Dry cleaners use chemicals, I would not get raws cleaned at the dry cleaners. That is a no no. Goes to show the legitimacy of prps. They were pretty popular 8+ years ago on forums.

I've heard horror stories taking raw denim to dry cleaners... Don't do it.

Just soak them in your tub and scrub the spots that are dirty then hang outside in the sun

As anyone had any bad experiences getting expensive selvedge denim tapered? I thought Nordstrom could taper jeans but they won't. Just worried about getting my APCs ruined.

make sure you're going to a legit tailor and just explain clearly that you want them taken in from the inseam. there shouldn't be any problem. I've had most of my denim tapered with no issues

Not all jeans fade the same. ACNE/Joe don't got ish on Japanese brands...Of course you got to find the correct fit, which took me years. I think ACNE has some elastane in em to help with stretch. I went from GAP < APC New Standard (200
< SExI08 bk < Samurai s710 < Momotaro 0605-50. Asides from the GAP/Momotaro I have over a year of wear on the other 3 pairs for reference.

im looking to get my APC tapered also, and called my local nordstrom and asked if they Taper from inseam and both locations said yes. Still need to take them in to see whats up. Did not believe them
