With Hill out on injured reserves.. It means we have two spots open.
We have to, have to, have to, have to get Kenyon Martin... There's no other way around it.
MWP's minutes need to be cut. He really is playing too much, and has looked tired for weeks..
Clark can help with that. Along with Kobe moving to the 3.
Pau will probably miss a game or 2 more.
Sacre maybe some minutes I guess as well.
Dwight probably out a couple more weeks.
Hill's injury, pretty much sealed Pau here the rest of the season. Lakers have to sneak in the deadline, by helping other teams make moves to get the players they need.
Presumably a Combo guard. Or split into backup PG & backup SG behind Meeks.

No draft picks, no money = not much to look forward to going into next season.
I really hope when kobe retires, management takes a different approach to putting teams together. Hopefully they start valuing the draft picks more

I don't know guys, we just can't stop anything. The defense is and always will be non-existent and with the team like OKC out there, the 2nd half is not looking good at all.

Before they went out and got Steve Nash & Dwight Howard.
Some of you guys need lessons in subtlety.
But even then, there are no big moves for the Lakers to make.. And if there is, it'd be at the expense of Pau, and we now can't afford to lose him. The only way Lakers can make a move for this deadline is through making deals for other teams happen.

We now lost our 6th man.. So now we have a front court of Gasol, Howard & Clark.
How do you suggest we get a starting SF, one better than MWP. When we have more trouble at PG...
All while not getting rid of Pau since we can't lose him..

Just making the playoffs would be great IF this were a young up and coming team, but its not. With the Lakers being who they are, and having the talent they have, just making the playoffs is not gonna cut it

It is too late to do anything for that position anymore. Which is why I keep mentioning the stupid moves they did in the off season and their love for the current scrubs.
Ebanks over Barnes still puzzles me. Inviting summer league scrubs to training camp and wasting time with them instead of some other legit minimum salary players.
This front office was either content with not having a bench/depth or they really expected way too much out of players like Morris and Ebanks.

I just don't get how your bench can get you a lead and then your starters come in and you lose it immediately
Van Gundy was right, the bench has no agenda when they're in no one gets upset if they didn't touch the ball that possession and the ball is always moving then the starters come in and if they didn't get a touch you see someone give a look and then next possession the ball stays between one or two players
