way too many turnovers

no transition defense

a lot of miscommunication plays on defense

NO BACKUP PG and NO BACKUP SF. The bench is too thin and these old starters run out of gas and stop playing defense.

It's sad to say but the Buss family screwed up on this. They saw what the Clippers were doing and wanted the Lakers to run the same style, which was the uptempo game. Unfortunately, they thought a team with old legs and a coach that implemented a 7 seconds or less would be the answer. Looks like we're in the same hole that Mike Brown dug.

Maybe Mike Brown would have worked out better...:lol

I sense a big move coming

eff it

Hire the new in-law mr. buss.

This team needs to be disciplined.

Hell I don't even know whats worst.

Having offense and not enough defense to win- Dantoni

Having Defense and Not enough offense to win (before Ramon)- Brown.

it seems like Kobe and Nash are the only ones that want to win.

Metta has been balling but that dribble out 20 seconds than fade away 3... was bonehead.
He needs to post up and use that gangsta strength to just get buckets. Watch him ballerinaring around Klay Thompson in win over warriors.

You can't blame Dwight for the super block assist that was just unfortunate, if anything it would have gone out of bounds.

The real concern is the 3rd to 4th quarter drought. This is where a serviceable bench would work out.

#FREEANTWAN- this dude put up 30 points against this nuggets team. He could have gotten 6 points during that drought.

end rant.

Well, I would say that Jim and Mitch are going to start feeling a lot of pressure.

CP is this really a personel problem? I don't know if getting anyone new will help this squad for this season.

-22 in the paint. Disgusting.

Well, Phil would probably have found ways to squeeze wins here and there, we'd be in a little better shape, but still have huge flaws he couldn't fix.

Tonight tho, crazy bad luck. Get a stop, Dwight turns it over. Block a shot, right to an open shooter. Pure bad luck. **** happens.

Good game yall. We got that win despite terrible perimeter D. Pau and Dwight looked like how the league was scared they would but damn that D is sooooooo suspect.

Both Coaches are terrible.

The front office is doing nothing.

Hell yes personnel is your problem now. Old, slow and no depth is a bad mixture- for anyone. Add on no shooters with D'Antoni and..

Trade Pau for Mbenga Mike Penberthy, Tyron Lue, Travis Knight, John Celestand, and Samaki Walker.
Let that man find a role somewhere else. Thanks for two championships, Dunk against the Knicks.

Jordan Hill has been more efficient but I can't see him in a starting position.

What's their next move, honestly? All the GMs are probably enjoying all this. Team makes the biggest moves in the off-season and are under performing. No GM in their right mind wants to help right now.

Signing up a backup PG is the only thing this team can do. They're probably waiting for the savior of Steve Blake to bring this team back.

I'm seriously DISGUSTED right now. sh*t. I kept optimistic but this is getting
out of hand. Kobe cannot do this night in and night out. It's 2006 all over again
except we have Nash, Pau, Metta, Jamison, DWIGHT in the lineup. SO WEIRD.

So Lakers lost by 7. Shot 19 less shots.

So I looked at other games..

11/2 vs. Clipper.. Clippers 84 shots. Lakers 68 shots. Lost by 10.
11/13 vs. Spurs... Spurs 90 shots. Lakers 74 shots. Lost by 2.
11/21 @ Kings.. Kings 81 shots. Lakers 65 shots. Lost by 16.
12/4 @ Rockets. Rockets 101 shots. Lakers 83 shots. Lost by 2.
12/11 @ Cavs.. Cavs 84 shots. Lakers 75. Lost by 6.
12/26 @ Nuggets... Nuggets 94 shots. Lakers 83 shots. Lost by 12.
1/6 vs. Nuggets... Nuggets 101 shots. Lakers 82 shots. Lost by 7..

MDA gets MDA'd by other teams.. It's time for him to slow up the pace. So teams are not shooting 101 times a game. We held them to 43%. That's actually solid.

But when a team shoots 101 times, you can hold them to 40% they'll still get 100 points..

We shoulda pulled the trigger on a pau trade in the off-season, the two 7fter experiment has run its course.

We need at least 2 of the 3......a true "stretch" 4, an athletic 3, a young aggressive pg.

They don't even have to be all-star caliber players, just guys who would mesh well with our preferred style of play

Season is over. Book it.
I'd rather miss the playoffs than be eliminated as the 8th seed.
This team is a joke.

They shoot 40% on 100 shots that's still 80-90 pts alone not including FTs :{ :{ :{ :{

Eh. I don't even think it is the two 7ft experiment.

I think it is the guy sitting on the sidelines (And yes we're stuck with him unfortunately)

Offense ran smoothly up to the 4th.

But the problem is it moves to quickly. There is a way to slow it down. Because right now it results in more turnovers. MDA just doesn't give a flying ****.

But since it is so fast pace, the other teams are getting high 80s in shots like it's nothing...

Even a great defense could only hold that team to a 95 point score.

I did the math. Nuggets shot 101 shots. If the Lakers held the Nuggets to a 39.6% FG and a 33% 3P. It is 88 points. Not including any FTs.

His system puts way to much pressure on the offense to be perfect.. And causes unforced errors that put even more strain on the defense.

Dwight wanted to say, "Yea I got 26 boards b/c no one else is on the boards" so bad :lol

Worthy had the "Negro Please" look on his face after Meeks said he thought they played good defense :rollin :rollin :rollin

teams are licking their chops to play us right now. we suck and i dont see us turning it around unless MDA stops being MDA, Kobe stops playing hero ball, pau stops being soft, and dwight learns to hold the ball up high. aka we aint turning it around :{

at this rate i wouldnt mind seeing dwight walk

Hero ball? Really? :| :{ :{
Dwight walk??? :{ :{ :{

I'd hate to see this team w/ no Dwight, Kobe disappearing in the 4th, and Bynum on the sideline w/ a Klump fro
