I would think Love for Pau is clearly a pipe dream. Minny would be stupid as hell.

What about D-Will and Ridinour? (I'm doing this off my head without looking at their contracts, so forgive me)

Thing is, not sure Minny really needs Pau, so maybe as Essential says, it's 3 team, and Pau goes there, another piece to Minny.

My main point is, would Will and Ridinour help us out enough assuming the rest of the cast remains the same?

Nope
Ridnour is steve Blake 2.0 when he comes here (not now) but will turn into when/if he comes

Dwill would be eh I dint think he makes much of a difference. Rather would keep pau if thats the case

The Lakers know in their hearts and minds that their season is DONE.
They will come out meek and mild tonight and just let one go for the hell of it.
Why waste energy when it wont end with a parade down Figueroa?

Kevin Love is def someone the Lakers should be targeting. Forget this Dwight Howard business and put attention into that.

Kevin Love actually wants to play for LA and is a better all around player IMO.

IDK how you guys get him though, unless you package a deal with Pau or Dwight and others.

3 teams would def be needed and you guys would need a lot of help.

Teams are always willing to help
See Memphis, Orlando

I want no part of Ridnour.

And Dwill? him and D12 would basically be the complete opposite of Kobe and Shaq. Kobe and Shaq were such alpha males, wanted to be the top dog so badly that ultimately, one of them had to go. D Will and D12 would just be cruisin along, collecting paychecks, waving at fans, hoping we can win a few games here and there, and if we win a championship, yippee. if not, hohum.

Not enough salary going out for Minnesota if it's just Williams and Ridnour. Williams, Ridnour and Roy's non-guaranteed contract is still short too, but throw in Lee and the trade works.

Williams is athletic, but an underwhelming rebounder and shooter (especially disappointing and concerning since he was billed as a stretch four/oversized SF coming into the league). Ridnour can run a team still, but is awful defensively and an average three point shooter for his career. Roy is done (|I) while Lee was showing progress as a defender before he had season ending knee and hip surgery.

Haha my dream would be to have Love and Pau on the same team. But i'm playing favorites right now.

But a line up of

Nash
Kobe
MWP
Love
Pau

So much BBALL IQ and Offense, we'd get torched defensively though.

My bad. Minnesota one, right? yeah, I'd be good with him.

I'm with you on this. I really like Pau on the Lakers, and he's the reason why we won back-to-back titles. To ditch him for a garbage coach is just plain wrong :{

Get rid of MDA and bring back Pau, i'd be okay with that.

Did you guys read that Byron Scott is on the hot seat? I'd love him here. He has Kobe's respect and he has a Laker Pedigree, he'd be great here.

He was the guy we were looking at before Potato Head but he took the Cavs job.

why is byron on the hot seat? not his fault the cavs are being the cavs

Cliff notes on what Pau actually said in the interview? Can't listen, at work...

First off was a Jordan Hill update, he's tryin to make his way back soon as well. Getting checked out in Memphis for 2 days.

Likes his role in the offense a little bit more...
Hemmed and hawed about getting more touches in the paint...
Speaks about the challenges this season. Not really defending MDA, but not killing him either....
Aware of the tough back to back, want to try and get nice lead early tonight....
Understands trade rumors, part of the business, nothing he can do, who knows what'll happen, just stay positive...would love to stay a Laker, but not up to him.
Rough year this year, all eval for next year, priorities, last year contract, hard to go thru another season of uncertainty with 1 year left on contract, we'll see.....
Wants to enjoy his last year(s) and be somewhere his talents are wanted.....
Then they talk about Marc Gasol a little bit.

Lot of pausing, speaking slowly, he's making sure to be careful what he says. He's a pro, he knows how to handle his self, but you can tell it weighs on him.
