If you're going to put losers on the list, include the 86 Rockets. They embarrassed the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, and lost the NBA Finals to one of the greatest teams of all time.  Like Simmons said, it's one of the greatest "What if?" teams of the NBA's modern era.
Also (zips up flamesuit), I think that the 2006 Mavs might have a shot at beating a few teams. Dirk BEASTED during the playoffs that year.

What team in the bracket could the '06 Mavs beat? Only team I see them having a shot against is the '09 Lakers.

I think that they would have a shot against the 96 Jazz, 11 Heat, 94 Rockets, 04 Pistons, and 99 Spurs. I hate the Mavs with a passion, but Dirk played the best basketball of his career during that post-season. He fell off in the Finals, but did work against my Spurs
