So I've been talking to that soup guy since Monday and he hasn't really told me much about the video. Here's a screen of the most informative thing he said during our conversations.

He's been very coy about the situation, he said he gets nervous talking to people over a certain age because they may be involved in the video somehow. I'm gonna continue lightly pressing for info though.

It's been like two or three messages a day, seems like dude was just feeling out the situation. It really seems like he's not really trying to put forth too much info also.

And I don't know about the age thing, I thought it was weird too he didn't ask my age specifically but my avy on tumblr is an older person than myself and he thought it was me so he was apprehensive. He said it's mostly been younger people asking about the video.
