Debate with my co-workers, pronunciation of nike "SWOOSH"

This thread is interesting.... Despite all the "you have to be an idiot if you don't pronounce it like _____" posts, I don't even think thepeople in this thread agree on how to pronounce it. Seems like some people have it rhyming with "push" and some with "douche"... and yet,everyone else is an idiot for pronouncing it the other way.........

havent read the thread...

but its swoosh, as in ... swewsh


different parts of the country pronounce the double-O differently.

some pronounce it .... "ew" (like chew)
others prounce it like the letter "u" (yup, crush, blush, etc)



i got schooled on this in middle school. me and my step dad used to argue all the time because he pronounced "hoop" weird.
