You used to be one of my favorite players in the league. You found a way to rise above your underated status and exceed all expectations.  You were a dominant force to be reckoned with and became a champion.  You once stood on your own 2 feet as a man. You were so great you put Shaq on your back.  You were so charming you outshined Charles Barkley in commercials.  You gave low ranked prospects hope that they didn't have to be McDonalds All-Americans to be great if they continued to work hard.  You had kids wearing Converse.  You were the best player in the Olympics at one point.  Then something happened

Something happened man.  I can't even blame you for conning Lebron to come play for you and Pat Riley.  That was one of the best chess moves I've seen in years.  You eliminated a foe. Befriended the best player in the game. And improved your team while extending your own career in one move.  But ever since LeBron came to town you changed homie.

You don't respect the game anymore.  You've been injured but thats no excuse.  You might be a defending champion but you are a shell of your former self.  You pick and choose when you want to play.  You really think you are good enough to "turn it on" when ever you want?  You think you can coast and then just "click a switch"?  Naw you can't and we can from your horrible play.  You can't shoot, you look out of control. your ball-handling is sloppy, and you just cry for calls all game.

Why did you stop working with Tim Grover and choose that weirdo down in Miami?  It looks like you care more about social events and fashion than basketball.  Thats not the D-Wade we knew years ago.  You are concerned with telling us about your mom, your kids, your great "father" skills instead of doing your job at a high level.

You aren't Kanye.  You aren't Mike Lowry.  Even your hairstyle is lame now. You are 30 man stop with the 90's fades and just play ball.   Theres a reason Jordan Brand dropped you.  How is it you sold Converse but couldn't sell Jordans?  Its your game that fell off and now you struggle every night wearing some Li-Nings.

Get it together or just get lost.  It used to be a dynamic duo in Miami and now it looks like LeBron is carrying dead weight.

Sincerely,

Alonzo Mourning

As far as I'm concerned Wade was only popular with kids and casual NBA fans.

Nobody I know has ever been checkin for D Wade.

Dwayne needs that Benjamin Button disease......

Dude will be playing for the Senior Olympic Team in four years if he doesn't.

I remember his first few years in the league. He used to be so humble, it was like a breath of fresh air after always hearing about diva superstars; T-Mac with the trade demands, Kobe/ Shaq drama, Ron Artest being Ron Artest. It seemed like every max player had bloated egos and had issues those years (except the spurs). D-Wade was almost like a new breed of stars with a team first mentality. But after his first championship, he got a bit egotistical, but he continued to work hard with his ridiculous 2008/ 2009 campaign. But ever since Bron came a long, you see and hear more of him in parties than on court. It's not too late to get his act together though. I hope he does.

Kobe logged more minutes and Been the league 17 years and still play at a higher level than wade.

Look like wade aged faster than normal
