Dead Malls aka When malls were poppin'...

That's another thing that's practically dead, outside of Dave & Busters :lol arcades as a kid were some of the most fun things around
Yes they were. I can remember mom dropping me off at the arcade entrance with $10, and being good for 3 hours + until she picked me up.

Yall remember that huge candy store with all those bins with plastic lids each filled with various wonderful candies.

Like rock candies and jaw breakers.

They replaced mines with a zales.

Where i live we got 2 malls. The white people mall and the black people mall.

Why would  I need to go to the mall if I can buy want I want in my size without looking hard? Then I don't have to deal with annoying customers in the way or bad employees.

Then online I have more discounted options. I only go to the mall for general release shoes that nobody cares about..... or a pretzel(my mall has crappy burboun chicken- Lenox has the best Bourbon chicken

tilt was LIT back in the day. I remember spending hours there everytime. Can't remember the last time I went to my local mall. Basically I see the prices and hit the *fiftycentlaughanddriveoff.gif Then go cop what I want online

where i lived in palm springs, ca there were 2 malls and and now theyre both closed.

one is still open because it has one of those nursing schools in it but other than that theres nothing in it.

it was across our high school, it had a millers outpost, a winchells, a rite aid and vons for condoms.

a ross to jack an outfit, a gottchalks radioshack..

man those days were fun..

the other one was alot bigger but it has now been torn down.

the last time it was standing tim and eric shot a movie and i met eric wareheim.

The MetroCenter mall by Glendale, AZ used to be a great place to shop when I was a kid. It is literally a ghost town now, except for the Walmart. There are still some restaraunts around it, especially by the I-17 but it is definitely sad to see what happened to it
Just left this mall today. Movie theatre only thing keeping this place alive. Always have gems at that Dillard's outlet :smokin

I wish my mall had a movie theater. It used to have 2. One was a really small theater and the other was probably one of the most run down ones in the country.

The mall just had a Century 21 open up but have a few empty store spaces and food court spots keep closing.

Mall movie theaters were the best. Both malls by me got rid of theirs like a decade ago.:{

Owings mills mall used to have the bishes , now its dead :{

Security square mall on life support ...n in ATL Gwinnett place n south dekalb dead too , used to be cool when I was living there

Malls can bounce back tho , they just usually gotta switch to upscale or become an entertainment center with theaters , restaurants n all types of **** around it ...Towson mall was dying in the mid 2000's now it's the best in Baltimore n got designer **** in it n all that ..even gave the teenagers a curfew :lol

Has anyone here purchased that lotion or watever that those cute lil middle eastern girls try to push in the middle of the mall ?

Basically

Outdoor malls are meh

Michigan has one good mall and that's somerset because it's a higher end mall but even that place is boring

The rest are ghetto as hell, surprised any of them are still open if you want my honest opinion
Great Lakes, twelve oaks, Somerset, birch run, partridge creek are all legit b. Oakland, lakeside, Fairlane are only good for release day sneaker purchases

I don't like Great Lakes, I mainly go for the Nike store and easily worst in the country.

I live about 10 minutes north of Partridge. It's nice but I only go there because of the Apple Store :lol and Nordstrom at times but somerset Nordstrom is so much better
