The Rock is a freak of nature as well as a having off the charts charisma . If you look at what's out there there isn't another person physically who could match Rocky AS well as be the gravitating presence. With that said that doesn't mean Shazam has to be small, but he's not gonna Super Saiyan The rock swole.

My personal pick. Again dude is clearly physically gifted. You can be that but to try and match height for height and muscle mass to Muskie mass it's gonna be hard cause you gotta be sure dude can carry the movie along with the kid who's gonna okay Billy.

Chris Hemsworth has the look down, but nothing I've seen him in makes me think he'd be the right actor to portray Shazam's personality. I think he'd be great as Hawkman, but yeah, it's a moot point.
