DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

Was it ever explained why Boomerang seemingly ditched the group at the bar, then joined them outside when they were walking on the street?

Or did he just wait outside for them?
I think he had second thoughts but not sure.

SS was terrible and full of cringe worthy moments

only saving grace was Will and Margotbae

How are some many people on NT still not using the /8 scale?!

why do we need a damn scale? you either like it or dont like it

the scale **** is dumb because you have guys in here rating it 5 out of 10 or 4 out of 8 and calling it terrible

if its terrible they should be giving it 1's or 2's

also how does an awful movie like transformers make a billion worldwide and have 3 sequels planned when it was a bad movie
How do you not understand a grading scale?

That's like saying I did bad on a test and you expecting the person to have got a 20% when in fact they got a 55% which is still failing.

As for the last part, ppl - the general audience - like bad movies all of the time. There are other factors at play. Do you know how many children who have to have their parents along go to see something like Transformers and TMNT?

You're thinking of this more from a 18 and over mindset and that's being generous cuz it's not like the majority of ppl have great taste at that age.

If we're playing this as you either like a movie or not with no gray area, probably gonna be way more movies you're confused on why ppl are ******** on it.
The actions scenes outside of Deadshot going ape **** were laughable ..one thing that Snyder can do is action and this is in total contrast to the bar set with MOS and BVS

Another reason why I don't think it's easy to identify this as being in the same universe as those 2 films

if there is one person who could pull off a live action DBZ movie it would be snyder lol (at least american director)
I don't remember there being a lot of slow-mo in DBZ. Quite the opposite.

No rape either.

I'd prefer Gareth Evans direct if we're talking about a serious remake faithful to source material.

ummm, well yea. when you put it that way...you right.

:lol @ the Enchantress harlem shake comment, I totally saw that and snickered.

I enjoyed the movie though, it was a lot of fun. I went in with very high expectations too, given how awesome all of the trailers were, and still enjoyed the movie. Were there scenes out of place and rushed? Yes, but what do you expect when you're introducing all these new characters? Hell, I thought they did a better job than BvS and that was only a handful of new characters.

Margot was definitely great as Harley, and the relationship between Joker and her was very cool to see. Looking forward to sequel :D

lol so i wasn't the only one...that was the first thing that came to mind when i saw she couldn't stop shaking...that or parkinson's...

I think I just read something where Leto said, they shot so much footage of him he can make his own Joker movie.

I don't know how true this is.

“We have a chunk, there’s definitely over 10 minutes of material on there. But this cut of the movie is my cut, there’s no sort of parallel universe version of the movie, the released movie is my cut. And that’s one of the toughest things about writing, shooting, and directing a film, is you end up with these orphans and you ******* love them and you think they’d be amazing scenes and do these amazing things but the film is a dictatorship (laughs), not a democracy, and just because something’s cool and charismatic doesn’t mean it gets to survive in the final cut. The flow of the movie is the highest master.”

So basically, Ayers approved that slow motion edit...

Terrible.

When can we finally experience a great villain like Heath's Joker, Tom's Loki, or Fassbender's Magneto . Most of these cbm suffer from the same issue when it comes to the villains being misused and wasted.

Considering what has been done with the fassbender in the 3 xmen films he has been in, wouldn't he fall in the misused or wasted category too?

We haven't really gotten a film with fassbender's magneto as the primary antagonist to the xmen or of the film
While this is true he has shined individually as an actor with the character and did the best he could with trash material (same as McAvoy).
Can't have the villains overshadow the heroes and their character development, fam.

Fassbender was wasted in those 3 movies.

Joker overshadowed Batman on TDK
Bale was completely misused in that trilogy. Its such a shame. While questionable, Batffleck showed way more of Bruce and Bats in BvS.
now yall hating on first class? deer lord
Have you seen FC? :lol

first class was pretty good. Could've been made better if a few changes were made and it was a real reboot with the original xmen team.

After first class, fassbender's magneto being the villain was the next obvious step

After him getting suited up at the end and all

yes i have. i loved first class

only part i hated was when my ***** got faded

You know what, if you're not a big X-Men fan then yeah I can see ppl liking all that mutant and proud black guy dying first trash.

The biggest plot hole in this movie is that the US secret service using Samsung devices...the government will NEVER use Android. Too open source. That actually really irked me throughout the movie.

Damn you product placement.

Also, the writers took a ton of shortcuts in this movie. Convenient plot holes and all.

On mr robot I was wondering why they had the fbi agents all receive new android phones. I was wondering about the open source stuff too.

I kinda think it was a little too early for DC to do suicide squad. I think it would have made more sense for us to get our first taste of this new joker and harley in a solo Batman film.

They could have even had the other villains introduced in the upcoming DC films.

Yo the gov't just picked up a crocodile *** ***** and a dude that kinda throws boomerangs to fight their covert ops and ya'll in here talkin bout some android phones?

This was a very strange movie and I kinda enjoyed it. I don't know too much about SS but I wanted to check this out and had a good time watching it. Joker was pretty awesome

Yes. Little things like that gets to me. Just like how Wonderwoman was watching live TV on the airplane when she saw Batman and Sups fighting Doomsday. When have you ever watched live TV on an airplane?

Other plot holes that I can't mention due to spoilers. Why are you offended or something?

The movie really was messy. It did have its moments though...I really liked the bar scene when they were all drinking. I thought that was the moment where the movie actually slowed down and actual character development was happening.

The Joker was awesome...but he did not fit in this movie at all. I thought it would have been better if he showed up in the beginning and end of the movie.
