Man, I wonder how bad the reviews would've been without the reshoots that upped the fun factor

The movie is full of stuff like that - retread scenes, concepts repeated and repeated (possibly because the studio was afraid the audience would be lost?), extraordinary examples of poor narrative economy. The entire Joker subplot has no bearing on the film and could be excised without losing ANYTHING.
Warner Bros crows that their DC movies are filmmaker-driven, but Suicide Squad feels like the casualty of death by a zillion notes, many of which were "Make it more like a Marvel movie
A film about bad guys teaming up to stop worse guys should have a terrific villain at the center. Suicide Squad does not.
Yeah, i've been thinking who is the big bad evil that the team has to stop. There's been no mention of it. I read something but that might not be the main villain or if it is a not well known one.
Terrific villain...
To be fair, the villains in most of the recent comic-book films have been horrible IMO...
Damn. DC just catching L's left and right lmao
They should just go back to doing only batman movies
Some of the reviews I've seen are all trying to compare this movie to Guardians of the Galaxy, and if you go into this movie wanting something like Guardians you've already set yourself up for failure...
I'd be happy if batman the animated series returned with new episodes. Justice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond as well. I don't read comics so those are the best versions of dc stories and characters to me.
Why? Just curious...
Stop it. Nobody is going in to this expecting it to be like Guardians. The reviewer just made a comparison because both teams have characters on them that make it seem wierd that they're together. That's where the comparison stops.

Suicide Squad in its core is not suppose to be like Guardians...it's about some mentally messed up people, teaming up (against their own will) to fight some even more messed up people. Nothing Guardians of the Galaxy like at all...
Didn't click the link, just going off the highlights posted on that pic. But my point being, I've seen more than a couple of reviews on RT trying to compare it to Guardians and it's like...no, you're doing this wrong.

What the **** is faygo?
It's funny cuz I just read a post talking about WB let's the director's keep their vision for these DC movies and all Marvel movies look the same.

I legit haven't seen this in any store in NYC let alone BK in my life.
I can agree here. I don't particularly like reading that as the main comparison but since SS is a villain driven movie it's not much to compare it to unless you go outside of the comic book category and doing that might be fair.
