DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

^ MOS doesn't touch batman begins. I highly doubt the sequel will be TDK worthy. Lets all just face it, the bats trilogy was lightning in a bottle, superman is still going through its batman forever phase

Im not trying to compare MoS to the Batman trilogy...because the story lines are so much different...the Batman origin is a more straight line storyline where as MoS is so much more complicated...

What I am trying to say is MoS2 could leave the same impact as a follow up to a good introduction movie. It could be a sequel that is better than its original because then foundation has been planted.

i liked MOS over all of nolans batfilms

yes i know im n the minority
Lol, damn you're a brave man admitting that on NT, but internet hi5 because I'm with you on that

I must be crazy because I actually liked the man of steel. Not really sure why it's getting so much hate.

This is a cash grab move. I don't think I'll be supporting this movie.

Warner Bros needs a new regime. Nolan's trilogy worked because they let Nolan do what he wants. This has corporate influence written all over it.

I dont have a single idea of which actor should be the next Batman.
No one fits the bill.......that I can think of.........
Prolly gonna be some unknown British actor that will end up having a huge career

I'm happy Bale won't be in it. It'd feel weird since Nolan's universe can't really coexist with Snyder's.

They're gonna ruin this... but as long as they ruin it with the world getting to understand how:

Bats > Clark

Then I'm cool.

Thought I'd see more positive responses in here.

I thought everyone knew about the whole "Worlds Finest" thing 8o

And for others asking about Justice League. JL was originally planned for 2015, but WB realized MOS, despite the backlash, made a ton of money.

A sequel to MOS was inevitable, but then it would take too much time to set up for JL with the other heroes, so one compromise and alteration they had to make was knock two birds with one stone. So instead of a stand alone Batman reboot, they'd just combine it with Snyders Superman.

So according to reports this morning, even before the Batman/Superman announcement. Flash is set for 2016 and Justice League for 2017.

I'm also not really a fan of not giving Superman a proper sequel. I think a lot of the negative responses about MoS were due to the fact that it was an origin story. (people ask for one but don't really want it) MoS was Clark Kent finding out who he was and deciding to become Superman - still a rookie. The sequel is supposed to be where Superman turns into the Superman everyone loves. It's a little strange they decide to use this very important chapter in Clark's life to introduce Batman as a major character.

the bad press given to MOS had nothing to do with the story itself, it was the horrible way they rushed through it giving it all 0 meaning, emotion, or depth. not to mention Louis lane being played by what seems to be Pam from the office...... garbage

not to beat a dead horse but batman begins took the entire origin of bats from childhood to become batman and made it work in a way where the viewers cared
