I don't see Gunn making a full on flop but I'm curious how much he can reign himself in with it. He's gonna have to drop some of the stuff he does for Guardians/Suicide Squad for a proper Superman movie.

I understand. Having said that, he played the Smallville Lex Luthor, not the evil villain Kevin Spacey Lex Luthor. Superman Returns might have been a bad superman movie, but Spacey's portrayal was gold.
