DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - The Penguin out 9/19 then every Sunday on MAX

If bale comes back for the worlds finest film...DC might actually be making gold on film

i feel like they don't really have a plan and are throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks..

Ben Affleck as Batman

http://variety.com/2013/film/news/ben-affleck-is-the-new-batman-1200586881/

“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a
seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,” Snyder said in a statement. “I can’t wait to work with him.”

Batman with a Boston accent...

"RT @DragonflyJonez: Affleck gonna be like "It's the Jokah! Or the Riddlah! Rahbin! Call Commissionah Gahden!""

smh

Affleck is a solid actor and a big name right now, I'm surprised because I hadn't seen his name rumored, but at the same time it makes sense.

I would be skeptical of a sequel and the new Batman regardless of who they cast.

Having said that.. I can't immediately picture him as Batman. Wayne.. absolutely. But as Batman.. I'm more concerned.

he's gonna direct Justice League and this is the only way they could secure him... just my opinion

bro

its looking more like a mockery :lol

i really dont know how i feel about affleck as batman

i think this means they're going the detective route with a lot less hand to hand combat... and since he's so old we're probably getting robin too

:eek Affleck as batman?! :rollin

I don't know what's more disturbing this, or the fact that Bale may have turned down $50 mil to reprise the role...

Meanwhile Avengers 2 is cooking...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA

it is wayyyy too soon for april fools! THIS CAN'T BE REAL LIFE

I just can't picture him as Batman, :lol.

Who knows, though.

I remember people feeling iffy about Heath as the Joker and Anne as Catwoman and they turned out to be fantastic.

I am not thrilled but I'll give it a chance, Affleck seems more focused these days.

Everyone hated Daniel Craig when he was casted as James Bond too but people would argue that he is probably one of the (if not the) best to play Bond. Then there is Heath as Joker and Anne as Catwoman.
