David Fincher: House of Cards( BEWARE OF SPOILERS) (series) starring Kevin Spacey

Damn I wonder what the story behind that is. Cosign or more politcal scheming and less personal stuff but I guess it's unavoidable at this point with Frank's private life unraveling

Highly doubt they'll parody that Trump ****. This show does have some vision when they focus on the politics.

At best mention some lame running for the campaign that gets used one and not seen again.

i want more corrupt political wheeling and dealing than personal dramas...

I wish I could double rep this.

Other shows like the Sopranos, The Wire, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad blended the personal and public lives of the characters but House of Cards is about politics. The brilliance of the shows is that even the most intimate of personal relationships are themselves political. There is no distinction between sociology and political science in the world of House of Cards.

In season three, however, the writers were not able to maintain that homogeneity. It feels too much like Frank's political career and his relationship with Claire are two separate things. Then there is the whole Stamper saga, which the show could really do without. There had better be a huge payoff coming out of the Stamper story line in season four and five.

I didn't care for the Doug stuff much in S1 but I was rooting for him when he made his comeback. Loved all of that.

You liked watching Doug track down that chick? **** was pathetic, and it took too much screen time from my dude Fat Frank.

^ Buggin :lol

Props to Spacey on winning that SAG award last night. I wasn't totally sure he'd win with that competition. Maybe next year for Rami Malek.

No. I enjoyed Doug getting rid of her, rejecting the life his brother had, and then working hard to get back in to the good graces of Frank when he once again needed him. Especially when that one lame wasn't good enough and Remy was revealed to be ***** made.

Then again I never did like realizing Frank had cut Doug loose and felt he wasn't ever gonna be ready to come back but I guess that's politics. Get almost killed by some random ***** and you out the game cuz it's all about what have you done for me lately.

Don't sleep yall. Doug Stamper is that dude

I hate what they did to Remy, how are you gonna have the coldest dude outside of Freddy get deluded by the yambs like that? :{

Damn looks like Frank's gonna be in for a rough season given his gray hair now :lol

Season looks like it's gonna be lit :hat :hat

Damn tryna remember important parts of last season
Remy out the game cause he got caught up in the yambs
The title he got caught up in the yambs for ain't she dating a dude with a kid right????
Frank tryna get re-elected right???
Doug was acting like a lil *****
But then got his head in the game at the end
What other important parts happened don't wanna rewatch

Just realized I haven't watched the official trailer yet. I guess there's no point in peeping it now.

No point rewatching season 3. There'll be a recap. It was pretty much universally panned for being good when the bar was clearly set for greatness of the highest standard.

FU snapped the neck of a dog in season 1 episode 1. He murdered someone in season 2 episode 1. In season 3 we got what... him urinating on a headstone? The people have spoken. I have faith the show will bounce back strong.

BTW, The exchange between the Underwoods in Claire's office (season 1 episode 10) was one of the best scenes this show has had to offer. "Is it the hot flashes?" 8o

In season one Frank said he doesn't get turned on by women, his attraction is to the power dynamic created. However, he wasn't even attracted to Claire which is why she wanted it rough, but he still refused. So who in the trailer has his attention and why?
