Dating single mothers, what's your take on it?

I always told myself I wouldnt date someone who had kids. The reason being is that because i didnt have kids & the the time came where her and I would have a lil one; our joy would be different. I would be experiencing fatherhood for the first time and the joy would be greater tha hers. Plus, the most important thing is, I unintentionally be treating my kid different than hers. I could only be her kid's role model and not the father. I wouldnt want to hurt no kids like that. You can care about her kids but its not the same as yours. Now that I am father, I understand the joy of becoming one. I dont think I was being an ***, just figured i would find someone without kids. No disrepect to single parents.
