I simply respect the fact that he is owning up to whatever his 'employees' have done before to tarnish Adikt's appearance and has cleared the air as to why he doesnt order certain things etc......

we where sayin nothin bad...(well i wasnt)!!!!..all we where trying to get out is if adikt was able to get foams ,1/2 cents or any type of exclusive ..darrenwould not have to worry abot those types of shoes sitting on shelves for months b/c theres cats on here who will buy them as quick as a NY minute....ive neverhad a problem with adikt ..matter of fact there the only store in dallas that actully caters to what i wear ..therefor fresco quit buggin out and saying wedissed adikt b/c we never did... end of convo.

Adikt is able to get pretty much any anything that's in the catalogs AND whatever Quickstrikes Nike decides Dallas is worthy of. I'vestated the reason why I've passed on some of those in the past. Unfortunately, 90% of our customers are not NT'ers, I wish they were. But the truth is,rent is made off random "Joes" that "are really really into these colorful shoes" and guys that ask "so do you paint and customizeshoes here?" Now that's sad but that's the truth. I'm not hating on Dallas NT'ers, I know everyone has their secret spot to get what theyneed online or wherever but NT'ers can't blame us for doing what we have to do to keep product moving. Trust me, if the majority of our customers wereas up on this as you all are, Adikt would get everything else.

bc60997 - I was just thinking about some kind of event the next time catalogs are in. I've let some of my regulars look through the catalogs and even letthem order 3 pairs of what they wanted in their size. Granted that person is extremely loyal and I know that they will be here 6 months later to pay for them.I'll figure something out but to answer your question, yes that would be possible to get certain shoes ordered based on interest level.

Prime x Time - We've looked at serveral spots throughout DFW and out of Texas completely but at this moment I feel like it is more important toconcentrate on this one store to get it exactly the way I am happy with before expanding. That means looking at new brands, a new website, expanding our rangeof Adikt product, and whatever else comes up.

And let's be completely honest, there was bad mouthing of the shop and the personnel. Not by most of you, maybe only one or two of you. Let's just letit all go. Its this kind of hate that will hold Dallas back and not able to get to the same level as some of the other cities. It seems like we are all socaught up on what we got and how much better we think our collections are or how much more we think we know, that we forget that we're all in it for thesame reason. Everyone fell in love with sneakers at some point, who cares if your first J's were at age 2 and Bob's was at age 32. Its the samepassion. So show more love, support, and respect to each other.

Not talkin crap, I just don't cop from there. I don't expect the red carpet to roll out, but I have been on both sides of the retailspectrum so there is something to say about customer service in general. They don't have to be nice to me, just like I don't have to give them my loot.It's a two way street. But if Darren says that bad customer service at his store is unacceptable, then I take his word for it.

Where to start... all this high school/girl drama.... well i hope you all have calmed down and realized that pimpin aint easy.

I only have a pair of Jordans. Only bc i'm not to into what they look like and plus they aren't that comfortable. The excitement of the foams is waaaaypast my interest. Adikt is the home to many of us Sneaker Heads in Dallas seeing that there really isn't many places. I live like 5 mins from it and tend tostop in and talk and ask questions. Sometimes Darren has a fresh pair that I haven't seen and even knew they had and there goes my funds. I can'treally say that for any other store around my hood here in Dallas. I tend to go to Big Mikes once in a blue moon but only bc of what I like. Long story short,we all prefer different things. If i saw a long line for the foams i'd be like sike let me in for some Air Max's please. haha.
