NT Fitness people, whats your take on creatine?

Been pretty split on using it since I been reading arguments on both sides so im kinda split.

Also for the people who do take it, what brand do you recommend personally?
 
I used it in HS, I can say it definitely works. However that taking a piss every 20 min life was not for me
 
On a cold friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I have been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungy, didnt have any lunch. In fact, I didnt eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was suprised they didnt ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the reciept and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the Creatine monster from the bag. I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating alot? I remove the label on the tub and tear it into a thousand small peices. I flush that down the toilet too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom askes me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "mom, its just for a school project". "what project?" "I dont know mom I just started it!!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping up 5 scoops into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into???? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The Creatine monster is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this. I open the Creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I dont want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. NO I DONT. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this **** now. "NO MOM I DO NOT WANT A COOKIE" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. 

Oh god, what have I done?

they've got the powder at whole foods. costs like 40 bucks though. hemp should be a part of everyones diet, such a healthy food. i try and mix hemp and chia seeds into my cereal or yogurt everyday.

hemp protein to me is just a healthier alternative than some of the other powders. it doesn't make me feel like **** afterward and it's got fiber and what not.

I am currently using Creatine HCL. I like the effects more than monohydrate.
 
Everyone "should" take creatine, but the thing about creatine is that you have to drink a lot of water in order for it to be effective, or you'll gain quite a lot of water weight if you don't. Go for ON monohydrate and mix it with your protein shakes or milk or whatever.

Hemp protein is my go to protein after a workout. Couldn't do whey and casein anymore.

I like hemp because it's a vegetarian type protein that has all the amino acids you need, fiber, Omega fatty's, and other micronutrients as well as 0 cholesterol.

My 2nd fave would be egg protein.

I have no gripes with creatine at all. Cycling it could be a ***** but i've always taken kre-alkalyn. It's a great supplement imho. Using it when cutting will work wonders for your body.

I'm actually thinking of giving it to my uncle who just came out of the hospital. He lost alot of muscle while there and he could do to gain some more of it. Gotta run it by his PT first though. But I know there are some studies out there that have elderly take creatine with great results especially in situations of muscle atrophy.
 
The way I see it, cats in jail don't have creatine, and they be wild Brolic, so why should we need it? Feel me?

Cause they have to worry about they angus getting peppered...they got that natural motivation to get brolic

Then maybe that fear needs to get instilled into the everyday working man? If a cat has that fear in him, maybe he'll be more inclined to get big naturally

Trying it for the first time. Definitely see results and gains. Drinking lots of water and grape juice.
 
I got off creatine and started hitting legs more. A lot more. My body reacted to it and my body started to grow. Not height wise because I know I peaked in my height. But also I started to eat cleanly. The goal is to appear bigger but weigh a lot lesser. Imo. I always thought trying to get my weight up to 185 was the key. But I dropped down to 145 from 165 and looked More swole because my waist was thinner and everything around it looked bigger. Arms legs. Chest. Shoulders. ETC.

OP what are you trying to achieve?
 
I got off creatine and started hitting legs more. A lot more. My body reacted to it and my body started to grow. Not height wise because I know I peaked in my height. But also I started to eat cleanly. The goal is to appear bigger but weigh a lot lesser. Imo. I always thought trying to get my weight up to 185 was the key. But I dropped down to 145 from 165 and looked More swole because my waist was thinner and everything around it looked bigger. Arms legs. Chest. Shoulders. ETC.

im  5'6 135 lb skinny af. Tryna bulk up to at least 145 b.
