Could Nike AIR PRESSURE be returning for 2015 via NIKE SNKRS APP?

seems like the printing label maker guy went "im sure they will price these reasonably at 185..."

and the sales pricing guy sees the label and goes "aww heylll nah, we pricing this sht at tree fiddy" :lol

or something like that. :p

Not gonna bog the thread with the same pics and info but got mine in today...leaning on keeping them.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nike planned on making these GR at $185 only to realize there isn't a high demand and the production is expensive lol. Someone might have gotten fired.

So what do you guys think the endgame of this MSRP mix-up should be? IMO Nike is definitely NOT gonna refund the $115 difference, to the people who bought these at $300...

Probably will get free next day shipping on a future order, or maybe a discount code.

Discount code tops for all of us.. I'm going to speak to a Nike rep tomm. We all should do the same.

I think it is still possible that they might refund/credit the difference/ it is nothing to Nike/ and bad PR has potential to cost more- not to mention the slight possibility of potential consumer law issues.

I would think a discount from next order would be likely.

They know nobody is returning them and that you can't get them for $185 anywhere.

Speaking of limited them og reebok pumps on the bottom right need another release

Missed them when they were cheap on reebok.com compared to other retailers charging 200 i think sns had them for the low for a bit but im kinda sketchy on buying overseas and missed out

I know they released the white navy a few times over the last 15 years but i need a good usa release where they are available everywhere

These probably would have sold out in seconds at 185

Took a look at my plastic box and the MSRP part is not there, but it does look like someone manually cut that part out since the edges of the sticker are not smooth

bros now this release is starting to get into xfiles conspiracy type **** lmao this rly is a strange release. im annoyed someone took a box cutter to my MSRP label and not gonna lie i feel nike is being deceitful charging 300 if these were really 185 and having employees manually remove the label. it could be a "printing error" somehow im not buying it we'll never know though. then a part of me likes the confusion and misinformation, it adds to this shoe's lore.

Just took a look at the size tag on the cardboard box that this came boxed with and it looks like something was definitely ripped off at the end of the size tag as there are indications of tearing on the cardboard

Edit: Here is a pic, my fingers are pointing at the tear

I was waiting to see how long it would be before somebody posted the $185 msrp. Mine is still attached to my outer cardboard tag, and the piece that was removed from my plastic box was still inside and all wadded up. When I mentioned they were removed by hand a few pages back, that's what I was basing it on. I just didn't want to be the one to break that news if I was the only one haha.

Peace,
J

No sticker on the outside of my box but I'll sign any petition if it means partial refunds are in order.

View media item 1878353Didn't see anyone post these yet anywhere. Anyways the shoe true is definitely orange but all the hits on the shoe are reddish. Someone hit me and asked how they fit. Ok I tried them on just for u lol. I'd say they're definitely tts toe box is extremely roomy. U maybe could even get away with going a half size down if u had too.

I believe someone posted a pic of the Nike plastic shoe inserts on page 20.

I'll add to they mystery of this release. I snagged two pairs, and they arrived in different shipping formats. Please see the pics below.

Shipment number one (size 8.5). Arrived as the plastic case inside of a small cardboard shipping box. The only stickers on the shipping box were my address:

Shipment number two (size 8). Arrived the day after shipment one. A huge box arrived with my address on the outside. On the inside it contained a smaller cardboard box (the same one that pair #1 arrived in), but the sizing sticker was on the outside. The plastic box was on the inside, of course:

Side by side:

The sticker on the 8.5 was definitely cut. There is a blade groove that extends all the way from the top of the sticker to about 0.5" down past that area into the plastic:

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I have a few pairs of the OGs from 89. At some point I'll post a YouTube video comparing the two.

It's really nothing more than a typo on the sticker that was chosen to be corrected by cutting it away. Simple as that. To think that Nike all of a sudden said "Let's charge more real quick"..."Hurry, someone cut those labels, and tell Joe to change the purchase price online."

Just a typo. No conspiracy. lol

My price was cut as well.Actually I think it was cut to fit the box. Perhaps it did have a different price on it..who knows. Obviously this is a much cleaner job than others with a blade mark, but this is simply just a typo on a sticker (I believe), and then the decision to correct it was to simply cut away the price. I wouldn't read too much into it. It happens....even to Nike. Just my 2 cents.

Also, mine were shipped in a slim box just a bit larger than the Nike Stash box itself. I think that was common too.

i remember in 2005 when the white laser aj4 released online...

the shoes, t-shirt & hat all had separate price tags on them...and the prices did not total the $200 that the package sold for
so buying all 3 items together was more expensive? :lol

nike has a history of this type of thing
with the word 'suggested' - i think they can do what they want on this issue

Typo or not, why have people manually remove the MSRP stickers? I have absolutely seen Nike send out shoes with one price on the MSRP sticker, then email shops and say "never mind, those shoes are now THIS price.". Then the shops have to pull the tags. I remember it as recently as the De La Soul Dunk Highs.

Peace,
J

So did anyone here back from Nike about price. I wonder if they will do anything. Now this makes sense why my pair was opened and
Then retaped with clear tape to remove price sticker.
