is there a way to connect a desktop pc to my laptop monitor? i got an old pc but no monitor and want to grab some files out of it (not pr0n). is there an adaptor that i can purchase?

Don't think you can use a laptop screen but you could always use an HDTV. If your desktop doesn't have an HDMI port you can get a VGA to HDMI adapter.

A lot of TVs have vga ports too. He wouldn't even need an adaptor.

Buy a usb to ide/sata adapter (whichever connector it is) and pop the drive out and connect to your laptop.
