Personally I don't see any of the "blossoming" going on in Colorado.
I live in CO Springs and for such a huge market down here there is no supply.
Denver, and occasionally Boulder, seem to be the only places for shoes.

Hence, me saying that Colorado is "beginning" to blossom.
-There's a sneaker boutique in Denver, The 400
-There's a sneaker boutique in Boulder, Installation
-There's a sneaker boutique in Fort Collins, Unsoled.
and all these places have opened up fairly recently.
There is two more guys trying to open another boutique. Supposedly they may talk with the guy at Unsoled. He's going to suggest opening a boutique to them somewhere in southern Colorado and possibly push for Colorado Springs.
There are several places with SB accounts including Satallite in Boulder, Emage in Downtown Denver, The Denver Skate Shop just south of downtown Denver, B&C in several locations and a couple places in Aspen.
There's even urban account stores such as Shoe Extreme in Westminster and a store in Aurora.
Of course there's NikeTown Denver. The more interest generated by all these stores, the more likely it will get nicer shoes in.
Then there's the Nike outlet store in Castle Rock. I think the more decent shoe stores in Colorado, the better the shoes will be when they arrive at the outlet.
Yeah, Colorado Springs doesn't have much...Is there really anything else besides the Citadel and the Chapel Hills Mall? But I think the more northern Colorado gets, the better chances southern Colorado may get something.

STAY AWAY from Shoe Extreme in Westminister for any limited releases because those crooks jack up their prices sky high and are ruthless when it comes to release day.
They may get some nice shoes, but you'll definitely pay for them.
I know they were charging $400+ for Laser IV's, and upwards of $500 for the DMP from what I've heard.

Wow i didnt even know that there was a boutique in Ft. Collins either . Thats great because our malls finishline and footlocker selection is nothing. Good thing I live like 15mins away from ft. collins.

Colorado is definetly starting to blossom in terms of sneakers. the guys at the 400 are starting to attract a crowd. They've been doing something on the 1st friday of every month for a few months now. Slowly I've been noticing more and more people on NT being from Denver, so its gonna start to escalate soon.

The guys at the 400 are really nice as are all the folks at Installation Shoe gallery in Boulder. I notice a shoe customizing place on Santa Fe too.

Well...glad to see I could bring some interest to Unsoled. The guy that owns the shop is named Chris. He is a skater and actually skated his dunks but he's been a shoe head for a long time. He is an extremely nice guy and very willing to work with paople. I'm glad I could bring attention to his store...
Anyway, his address is 105 E. Laurel St Fort Collins, CO. His store is fairly easy to get to...
-Just go North on I-25 (duh).
-I use exit 269 E. Mulburry St. and go west (turning left)
-go about 2.5 miles until you start getting into town. You'll be turning left on College Ave.
-Two blocks down you'll be turning left on E. Laurel St. The store will be on the right about three stores in. Somewhat limited parking. Remember this store is closed on MONDAYS.
As far as The 400 goes. The two main guys, Kris and Randy, are extremely nice guys too. They really know thier stuff and thier store is absolutely beautiful.
Thier address is 1010 Bannock St. Denver, CO. SInce thier store is close to downtown, there are tons of ways to get there.
-Usually I'll go North on I-25 and exit 209 W. 6th Ave. going east or I use exit 210 Colfax and head east (going right for both).
-Either way, you are looking for Speer Blvd. From W. 6th you'll be turning left going north. From Colfax you'll be turning right going south.
-if you're going north, Bannock street will be on your right, just remember you are looking for second Bannock St. sign to turn into.
If you are going south, Bannock street will be on your left, you'll have to cross over an island before getting to Bannock.
-From here, no matter what direction you came from, you'll be on Bannock. Just follow the street a couple of blocks until you just pass 10th street. The store will be on the right hand side. This store is closed on SUNDAYS.
I've only been to Installation once. Thier prices are a little steep, but since they collaborate with Satallite skate shop, they have a quickstrike account and an SB account along with tons of other shoes. The place feels more like a regular store rather than a boutique because they have so many shoes there. I don't know how nice the guys are there but they seem OK.
I'm not 100% about the address but I think it's 1955 Broadway, Boulder, CO.

-Go North on I-25
-Take the US 36 Boulder exit and go west...Exit 216 or 217 (I can't remember)
-Once you get close to Boulder, turn left on Baseline Rd.
-Broadway is almost an immediate right.
-Drive until you start getting into downtown. Installation will be on your left. Look carefully because it's easy to miss.

Other than Nike's, they get many quickstrike Adidas, New Balance's, Puma's, Creative Recreation and such. A lot of stuff you aren't going to find in Malls and regular shoe stores.
Installation-The store has a ton of stuff. A mix of everything. They have an SB account, and if you have smaller feet your gonna find quite a bit there. The last time I was there, they still had Tiffs, T-19's, Melvins, De La Lows, Pusheads and quite a few more SB stuff from the past year and a half including Deltas, FC's, Team editions and so on. They also have a quickstrike account and get about the same stuff as The 400. They also have a bunch of other brands in skate and lifestyle type things. Just a heads up for other Colorado people, the Castle Rock outlet has a bunch of white label hoodies for $15. There are probably six or seven different ones. They also have a womens AM 97 sizes 10 and below. The other day there were also some Considered BBs that were B grade but those were almost gone on Friday.
