^^ Marley Marl deff blessed CNN wit that beat...it fit the artists style...grimey and gritty lyrics put together smoothly over a smooth beat..the way NY usedto do it...but at the time i cant think of any NY artist that rocked west coast beats besides the firm..each beat was tuff and fit both artist..imagine kuruptspittin to the LA LA beat..

i mentioned the firm rockin cali beat but are there any cali artist that used NY beats?
