" It was quite epic of a meeting. The three speakers were all PASSIONATELY against this lease and wanting a NEW stadium for both teams. The lead Supervisor you could tell was ticked, its all very political between the county and city. However, in my opinion the lease a bad deal, but that's just my take.
I was also at the Coliseum City workshop on Wednesday, I have been to most of them. The people that are working to get that project off the ground are doing all the ground work that projects of this scope have to go through by law. So the EIR report is coming out next month and certification 90 days after that. The lead architect said that shovels can be in the ground in 9 months. See with all this ground work almost all done and was for the most part done under the radar, they can start immediately opposed to other projects.
After going to a lot of the meetings and talking with a lot of people, I have learned there are a lot of people working hard to get Coliseum City off the ground so that the Raiders can have a new stadium. Just because we are not seeing it on ESPN or PFT doesn't mean its dormant.
My take is that both the Raiders and A's could have a nice stadium/ballpark at the current site that everyone would be happy with. So happy in fact, that all the stress and anxiety we as fans have had to endure would make it all that much sweeter. I think the only thing the project is missing is a champion, or quarterback . Someone that goes out to the media explains the current situation and the solution in clear and a concise manner using layman's terms. Someone who instills confidence, San Francisco had it with Willy Brown who saved the Giants and got them one of the best ballpark's in the city, then lost it with Newsome who entail lost the Niners. And it doesn't have to be a politician, Jed York did it with the Niners. So someone needs to step up and get this deal closed cause its right there for the taking."

My hitta Sio had to take a backseat to getting this jersey first
DOPE!My hitta Sio had to take a backseat to getting this jersey first
I read somewhere the only issue with this is Mark Davis is not willing to give majority ownership of the team...now CC doesn't necessarily want majority, but part ownership...Mark needs to find a way to make this happen
The Raiders and NFL have $400 million combined. The rest is paid by Colony Capital LLC. CC want part ownership of the Raiders because they are going to foot the bill. The Raiders and the CC also need to find a way to compensate the JPA and the OCC for the use of land.
Yeah, hell no I'm not paying $300 for a rookie. Guarantee me he'll be a HoFer and then we can talk

Buy a Raiders jersey after the season...especially after a bad one.
I bought a nike custom Elite for $130 on Raider image. I thought it was a mistake but nope my friend copped one too...Thank you Dennis Allen for coaching us to two 4-12 seasons LOL
That's good advice. I'll look out for that after this coming season. Still need a Woodson and Sio jersey.
I would suggest not wearing it after it gets signed. With every wash, the sig will fade...You guys have any signed jerseys? How do you clean it after use so you don't damage the signature? Or do you stop wearing it after it's been signed?
I want Mack to sign mine, but my brother brought up a good point about how to maintain it.
