Yeah, that surprised (and puzzled) me too. In what way has Boss been a disappointment?
The Giants run a lot of 3 receiver sets with Steve Smith in the slot, now obviously that would change if the Giants got Gonzo but Smith is really working that3rd receiver position, he seems to pick up 1st downs at will for Eli and its obvious that Eli trusts him to run clean routes and to be where he's supposedto be when he turns the ball loose.
So it's not a real surprise that Boss hasn't been getting that many looks or catches, but let's be real: if Shockey were still here, hewouldn't be getting those looks either unless he was pouting and whining for them. Plax --> Toomer --> Smith --> TE, that's probably Eli'sprogression on most plays. Boss makes the catches when Eli throws to him, and he made the go-ahead TD catch against Cinci. I don't think any player whodoes what's expected/asked of him can be considered a "disappointment".

It seriously makes perfect sense for the Eagles. Would solve our biggest problem which is the lack of a red zone threat. Unfortunately we franchised LJ thispast season so I don't see the Eagles making that kind of investment.
