Never will buy from them again. Got burned a few years back. Direct airline purchase only learned my lesson.

I prefer southwest for all flights. Cheapest, great service, no gimmicks, a lot of things included that everyone else charges for.

Southwest "wanna get away" is pretty good for cheap prices. Always fly from SEA to OAK/SF for like $150-200.

Do airlines still sell tickets for empty seats on a plane? I want to go to an airline one of these days with a light bag packed and just fly wherever there is an empty seat as long as the ticket is dirt cheap

Yep. I flew out to Dallas last weekend. Departing flight got delayed 30 mins. The return flight got delayed 3 hours. They gave us a small bottle of water and some tea cookies.

Can't complain. It was an impromptu trip, I had a blast, and the ticket was pretty cheap.

Yes and know. They are sites that tell you how to book cheaper flights. Some are 3rd some tell you book direct. It depends
