We pay for meals? I mean why not raise prices and paythe servers more? I hate having to tip when they should be earning the minimum wage and have us tip if only service is really great and we feel that they should make more then the minimum wage for that hour... I hate getting bad service and sometimes feeling obligated to tip ...

Realtalk i dont tip. I save the tipping money and when i see a homeless i give them 20 bucks. Gotta distribute my wealth evenly

So you'd rather give 20$ to a person that is likely to use it at a liquor store than tip a server for good service ? Someone actually TRYING to make a living :lol

:{

If you're cheap, tip 15% and call it a day. Dudes too poor/cheap to leave a 5-10$ tip, save yourself from looking like a loser and eat at home :lol

worked in multiple restaurants. Screw tipping man it's the worst...I always leave around 20 percent tho. gotta change that when my service isn't well enuff

If you stick up for a server or you are a server.. **** off. This is not the thread for you.

If you took away mandatory tipping, you lazy *** servers would actually care about my cold *** food and empty drink. You would do your job and do it the best of your ability so you can then be rewarded form another person's wallet. ***** if you think I came to a restaurant to hear you " have the same things in common, traveled/have family in the locations, and other made up ********" to make me sidetracked since you haven't checked on my meal and you're in the "weeds" because you can't handle your ****.

I came to eat the food, and pay for the food. Not pay your tuition, gas, and club expenses. If you're a parent and you're serving then who the **** is putting your kid to sleep? c'mon now b.

I had servers TRY...TRY to tell me that I should serve instead of working at my full-time job with mad benefits. you serious bruh?

I've never really understood tipping either. In the restaurant businesses, what are they doing so different from most other businesses fundamentally where I should give them more money for simply doing their job description? Like there has so be some sort of history behind why this is (too lazy to look myself).

On the other hand, black and dont want to be considered another one of those broke no tipping ******, so I do 15% anyways.

Only time i tip is when im shootin spiders off my rims. Know im talmbout.

Bruhome time at dennnys this guytook literally 24 minutes to process my debit card . I even offered to use cash. In the end he couldnt get the machine to work so i had to go outside to my car in the rain and get cash

Amd he thinks he deserves a tip :rollin

I always tip, but never understood the reasoning behind it. They're getting paid to do their job. I keep hearing the argument "well they work hard for a lousy salary." Well then find a different job. There are a ton of other professions that would claim the same reasoning to require tipping.

I tip if they act like they want one.

You get what you earn, baby girl.

tipping is an archaic social construct like marriage and taxes ...
