Yeah, Agassi use to kill those Zoom ablaze. It’s amazing how Nike literally flourished in every sports arena. They made great shoes for every sport

numbah1grimey You wildin' man, those joints were/are horrendous. 100% RTV to Adidas to be destroyed regardless what year they come out.

Kobe deserves some of the blame for asking that his joints look like those first gen Audi TTs that ironically haven't aged well at all too.

Adidas Kobe 1 was tough to rock casually, but the Kobe 2 was ugly AF on and off court. One of my boys got a pair on clear-out back then and I clowned him hard for sporting some damn toasters on his feet.

FWIW, Jordan XIV, XVIII, XXI and Air Zoom Generation are good examples of how to take design cues from automobiles.
