CDP 4 vs 2012 Bred retro 4

i feel that the 2012 version is definetely better hands down material and even shape wise. im sure many others agree. is the 2012 bred retro 4's version durabuck though? material is better than my cdp 4's

CDP's shape was trash but it stills wins, and it is no contest. Because of the durabuck

Those white lines the durbuck lines leaves are an important aesthetic. Without them the 2012 just look off

The overall build on the 2012 surpasses the CDP version. That's my opinion.

Material, CDP wins, but they were mad thin so that takes away from them.

Then add in the banana shape and the chipping.

The 2012 seem more comfortable also

Sorry but I'm not a fan of the cdp IV. The material was grey from the jump. I'd rather my black shoes be black when I buy them.

the 2012 retro is trash. So many cracked midsoles. I'm still contemplating sending mine back to Nike for credit toward something else. I was so blown after 3 wears when they showed signs of cracking/peeling

2012 is def better. most if not all of jays crack at midsole so ehhhhh. as far as peeling midsoles go, my 2012 havent peeled and i wear mine regularly. the way you guys wear your bred 4's is questionable.

2012 are terrible as all theb2012's were because of the ridiculously high tongue on them purely to satisfy these fashionista hype beasts who enjoy wearing 4's with their jeans tucked behind the tongue.
I wore these for ball the other week and a teammate of my vintage agreed that the tongues looked terrible.

Would prefer the 99 shape though.

CDP's are trash... I stay leaving midsole chips everywhere when I throw those on. Only use now for my CDP's is to hold me off from unDS my 2012 retros

I personally haven't dealt with cdp IVs but if they're worse then wow. I wear all my shoes carefully and I'm 6'9" 220 so I'm not overweight by any means. Trash
