Did you? Dude obviously wasn't about nothing, even after saying "I'm gonna beat you up" did he not back off? Did the dude recording not continue to further the situation? Dude didn't seem threatening at any point throughout the video, and he bucked at him once after dude continuing to go on about it for like 2 minutes. I'm not gonna watch the $!#+ again, but I'm actually pretty sure that gold tooth even told dude to just take his bike and leave. Like I said he is by no means wrong if he would've just hit dude, but you really expect anyone to help you when dude already gave up on trying to rob you?

he said "take your bike and leave before i beat you up" or something like that. and then repeatedly said "imma beat you up". and then made a threatening gesture. clearly threats in my book.

Plus not to mention that there is no guarantee that you'd be able to whip a thieves #**. I mean deep down inside the tough guy in you wants to make you believe that you'll mollywhop the thief which may be true, but why subject yourself to a possible traumatic beatdown over a material item? I hate a thief as much as you do, but I'm going to use my head and use more discretion than valor. Life is not the movies my dude, it aint a video game where you can get a do over. Now wouldn't it be real tragic for you to be beaten into a vegetable over something material? Use your head or possibly lose your head.

i think the reason dude that almost got his bike stolen kept pressing the issue also was because gold teeth still had the broken lock to his bike and wanted gold teeth to pay for the broken lock.
people may disagree with my beat the crap out of gold teeth opinion and that's fine i respect that and see where your comming from but the guy that almost got his bike stolen handled the situation bad imo, if he isn't the type to fight then just call the cops, give as best a description he could of gold teeth, and try and follow gold teeth until the cops come. dude was getting into a war of words and it coulda ended up all bad for him if gold teeth wasn't a +%#@. dude kept going back and forth with a thief and 2 dudes with the "stop snitching" mentality. you can't argue with ignorance so why even bother. if gold teeth is going to say something stupid you either swing on him right there and if your not then you call the cops and let them handle it, no need to get into a war of words with 3 idiots.

This. Dude got caught trying to play safety patrol. Call the cops if you really want to force the situation. He was stupid to think that a pair of mall batons are going to go above and beyond in that situation. Mall cops are decorative.

I didn't mean there was no threat in that way. I meant as in physical threat as in no fear instilled, as in he wasn't in physical danger at any point. You said neutralize the threat, do you understand what that means? To neutralize a threat is to put yourself out of harms way by eliminating that threat. Knocking someones head off over saying I'm gonna beat you up is not neutralizing a threat.
