As for clinical years... a large % of surgical residents will get stuck on accident at least once. If there's any HIV risk, it becomes the crappiest year of your life. Worst situation I was in was an HIV patient who started freaking out post-op and we had to hold him down. I think I was only wearing scrubs. There's probably traces of virus on my shoes still.

And it's probably a good thing to be a germaphobe, as long as you're not OCD about it. You'll be more careful/clean and reduce the rate of hospital infections.

It's a chick move but in the middle of a fight you do whatever it takes. As a girl though, spitting in a guy's face is never a good idea. I'm lucky/grateful I didn't get my ++% beat after that haha

I was slapped once by a female in high school. I slapped her back and she never thought twice about slapping me again. I pray that no one ever spits in my face because I fear the consequences of my reaction. To me, that is the lowest most degrading thing you can do to someone.
