Buying Dunks at Ross and returning to Nike Outlet, Yay or Nay?

It's grimey, but if you can get away with it, why not?

Last year I bought a pair of Inline Zoom Kobe IVs at Foot Locker for $84 during F&F, and I took it to the Nike store and got $120 store credit and used ittowards a pair of $140 Zoom Kobe IV IDs. It even had a "FTL" inventory sticker on the box.

What I'm wondering is what the hell you were doin thinking you could resell those shoes for profit?

Dunks are Dunks, gotta be someone out there looking for sz 13. Idk haha. Anyway I can get the 30 off the bottom? I think they're gonna notice it.. :/

You are correct sir, there is a 30 on the bottom, what does that mean? And is there a way I can erase that? Hmm Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works I hope...

I had some Shox VC that i got for $30 at an outlet store once and sent back to Nike and got a voucher for $160, but they were defective

I used to do this all the time for video games and clothes. I would go to toys r us buy games for cheaper and return em to eb games for more store credit. Ialso used to buy clothes at marshalls and return em at macys(this was before macys had those return labels).

I would go for it. I do it all the time, you just have to say you got it as a gift. That way if it doesn't scan properly, you can use the excuse that youthought they bought it from here but they must not have...

Don't they scan the box anyway? Regardless, I'm sure it would scan properly as long as they're from the US...

I've done it at Target...... They didn't even double check it, bought a book for like $10 from Amazon, took it back and gave me a $25 gift card inreturn.

-buying shoe at ross for $30
-returning it at Nike outlet to get a $50 store credit
-ending up buying a $50 shoe or you'll add more if you want something else.

You gain $20 but lose your $30.... since you're jobless Saving your money is what you need to do.

they will find out.

I returned something on sale at uniqlo. I bought it for 15$ and returned it for 20$ store credit (price went back up) without receipt.

Basically when you buy the item in the first time they scan it and check it out on their computer. When you return it with or without receipt they re-scan itto check it back in. If it doesnt show on the computer its not their item?

btw...
just make sure the cuffs aren't too tight when you're escorted away by law enforcement.

OP all you have to do is say you got it as a gift but they got the shoe too big and they lost the receipt. They told you that they brought it from this store.Trust me, I did it many of times.

I thought it would be hard because stores from Ross dont have boxes but at the Nike Outlet they have boxes. I thought about doing this with the Jordan 2009

just say it was a gift? it's not that hard. say it was given to you and you had no idea where they bought it. only if they asked though
